Went here our first day on the island for drinks and ended up getting dinner, too. The service was pretty slow, but the server was super friendly and attentive once she finally made it to the table. My wife had the mahi mahi tacos and I had the mahi sandwich and they were fantastic. We also had two drinks each, the last two were the lava flow (delicious) and mudslide (not bad, but not great). The views are gorgeous overlooking the ocean and the prices aren’t awful. For 4 cocktails...
We visited the Hono Bar three times as we stayed in the area for 12 days. We did not stay at the Marriott, but we were welcomed there every night. We watched the sunsets there, had some drinks and dinner one of the nights. We sat at the bar and we're entertained by some friendly bartenders, and excellent drinks (Mai Tai was awesome). We got hit with a short rain shower and they just dropped a couple curtains to keep us dry. Great fun!
