“Excellent Mexican food! Great service“
“I was introduced to RVN as they catered a graduation party we attended.
All of the food was pretty good, but with a twist.
For instance, a dish that I thought was pork & peas, I was told could’ve been “igado”, as it had garbanzo beans mixed in rather than green peas. I really hope I wasn’t eating any organ meat…
Next was pancit, but it was done chow mein-style, meaning it didn’t have the traditional flavors.
For dessert, the lumpia was stuffed with possibly cassava and not banana as it had a chewy/sticky texture akin to mochi.
The rest of the fare was textbook, including giant shrimp tempura, a sautéed beef selection and chicken katsu. I’m not certain if they supplied the spicy ahi pokē but if they did, I loved it!“
