Kihei Caffe Lahaina Reviews
Good Food. Big Servings. Friendly Staff
Home fries were burnt beyond edible. I had the eggs Benedict. I egg was overcooked (yolk was hard), the other was undercooked (egg white runny)!
It’s a definite… been there…. Done that experience.
Easy access and good bang the buck.

Kihei Caffe Lahaina offers a colorful ambiance along with good food and service. It is a quick and easy spot for an inexpensive breakfast in Lahaina. Their pork fried rice is delicious, and the counter service is great. With an early 6 am opening time, it is a convenient breakfast option for vacationers in Maui, with plenty of free parking available. Customers praise the delicious pancakes, including flavors like chocolate chip, coconut pineapple, and banana mac nut. The 2-2-2 breakfast (eggs, bacon, pancakes) remains a popular choice, and the drip coffee is well-liked. The service is described as fast and friendly, though it can get busy with wait times around 15 minutes. Prices are seen as reasonable, though some feel they are high for the cafeteria-style service.
Many enjoy their meals, such as the chorizo and scrambled eggs, loco moco, and the surfer dude sandwich. The loco moco is presented well and tastes great, with the brown gravy often praised. The chorizo meal, which allows customers to build their own burrito, is considered amazing. The pancake flavors and coffee are frequently highlighted as favorites. Some customers mention that the food can be greasy or average, and a few note that eggs in the surfer dude sandwich can be undercooked. Overall, Kihei Caffe Lahaina remains a popular breakfast spot, with a mix of positive and negative reviews from customers.
