Wailele Luau Reviews
Wailele Luau was hands-down the best luau we’ve experienced. We went on Wednesday evening with a group of 21, and everything was seamless and incredible. The performers were amazing, and we loved learning about the culture and stories behind the dances—not just watching a show, but truly experiencing it. Every performance was captivating, and our entire group (kids and adults) was fully entertained.
If you’re choosing one luau, make it Wailele. Highly recommend!

Wailele Luau offers a decent dining experience with a good show, featuring talented performers and impressive fire dancing. The food is delicious, with standout dishes like Kailua pork and ahi poke. While some reviews mention the overall buffet as average, there are a few standout options, including salmon and beef. The main meal includes basic items like salads, chicken, fish, veggies, beef, and poi, with several desserts available. Friendly staff make guests feel like family, providing attentive service. The included drinks are well-made and potent, with many choices available throughout the evening. Vendors offer engraving during performances, adding a nice touch. Guests have noted that the experience is worth attending at least once, even if some feel it lacks uniqueness compared to other luaus. The venue is easy to access, especially for those staying in the Ka'anipalli area of Maui. Premium seating is recommended for unobstructed views of the show, as it offers a better experience. Guests have appreciated the engagement of the host and the opportunity to learn about Hawaiian culture during the performances.
