It seems they taken their own liberty to create their own Katsu sauce. is not the original L&L katsu sauce. Also ordered a regular plate and they tried to only give me one sauce when usually you get two with the regular plate. the sauce containers are a lot smaller as well than the usual L&L sauce containers. The chicken and rice were really good.
I got the BBQ mix plate for takeout and was really impressed with the portion size. It came with short ribs, steak, chicken, rice, and mac salad. Everything was flavorful and cooked well. The short ribs were especially good. Definitely a generous plate that left me full and satisfied. Service was fast and friendly. Overall, a great value and a tasty meal. I’ll definitely come back again.
We eat here every time we are on the island. In fact we visit 2-3 times each visit. \nThis is our go to for Kalua Pork and Cabbage. Always good and we love the mac salad. Ambiance, well frankly there is none, but all the food they serve is good and portions are large. \nIt is nice to sit out in the covered open air courtyard.
