“I had been on island for a week and the day I leave I found this place. The food was amazing and felt like home cooked eating. The owner and staff were friendly and talked to us for quite some time about everything. They are genuinely some of the nicest people we’ve met on the island and must suggest this place to anyone and everyone that is coming to Kauai. Don’t make the same mistake we did, come on your first day and you won’t be disappointed.“

“We are Marriott Owners and stayed on property to enjoy the Royal Sonesta amenities. Kukui's bar opened up after their beautiful remodel.while we were there. I shared my thoughts with Anthony, who was the manager on site. Christmas Day was crazy busy and the staff kicked butt and did a fantastic job. Boy, were they hustling and still kept their composure and professionalism! The menu has been refreshed and had many great healthy options. The prices are standard for this type of higher end property. The breakfast menu offered many options and all that we tasted were beautifully plated and very delicious! Yes, there were hiccups, which is expected, but the staff did the best they could. I'm not going to mention what needed to be improved on yet. “The Valentine's Day buffet was absolutely incredible - I was looking for a place that was offering seafood and at least one potato dish, some of my wife's favourite foods, and Naupaka delivered! We arrived about half an hour before our reservation and were invited to check out the property. There were hula lessons happening, then a Polynesian dance group, and then live music. The variety of food was great! The poke was the best I've ever had, the steak, while all cooked medium or more, was tender and juicy, and there was enough variety that almost anybody would find something they'd fall in love with, and the dessert selection - which included fresh chocolate covered strawberries - was enough to tempt you away from filling up on just entrees. My wife, who hates coffee, wants to give a special shoutout to the mocha mousse, which she snuck out a second of to save for later!“

“We had an absolutely lovely dinner on the huge patio. Our server Janice was incredibly welcoming and took great care of us. We shared a burrata with heirloom tomatoes and a burger - both were perfect. You can't beat the atmosphere - a view of paradise with music at the perfect volume. Free valet parking too.“

“The Prime Rib was enjoyed by my son-in-law, and I LOVED the Stung Honey Fried Chicken. The coconut shrimp were the perfect accompianment to the King Tiki Mai Thai. My wife loved the Asian Salad, but my DIL thought the Macademia Crusted Mahi Mahi was a bit dry. Service was SPECTACULAR, and the kids menu was extensive - our 3.5 yo grandson loved the grilled cheese sandwich with waffle fries, our 19 month old grandaughter loved the pasta with marinara, and there was also pasta with butter sauce, cheese burger sliders with waffle fries, and chicken tenders with waffle fries. The view of the pool and ocean from under the lanai was also terrific!“
