“We finally got here before they closed. Hooray! Waited in line for about 10 minutes. Was not disappointed, bought lots of donuts including doughnut on a stick, malasadas, peach pear thingy, and more. It was a challenge to eat it all and I probably shouldn't have. All were excellent.“
“LITERALLY SO GOOD!! staff were incredibly friendly, food was unbelievable. i got the strawberry french toast and i've never had something so good. it had whip cream and strawberry sauce, and the french toast was soaked in the sauce. absolutely delicious. they also had fresh squeezed orange juice! if you don't like pulp, i don't suggest it, but it was seriously so good. i also gor a chocolate croissant to go, it was super flaky and soooo good!!“
“Great donut place. Each donut is handmade and freshly fried per order. I highly recommend any of the maple donuts. The owner was super nice and explained the history of the business while making the donuts. Location could be better, but it is worth stopping by the parking lot to get a unique and delicious treat. ItsI'd avoid the coffee as it was just a Keurig machine.“
“Truly one of my favorite places - the food is so fresh, the owners are incredibly kind. The salad is delicious, the homemade focaccia is to die for, generous portions, can’t go wrong! The chocolate chip cookie is also unbelievable! Super quick too!! Can’t say enough!“
“The place was absolutely slammed with a line going out the door. But they got us in and out quickly (if brusquely) even though they had to make a new batch of cinnamon rolls. The egg & sausage bagel was amazing. The best I have ever had.“
“SO MAGICAL! It's like walking into a fairytale. Such a beautiful little shop. We tried some of their cookies, which are baked fresh every morning, and they were the best cookies I've ever had. The Lilikoi cookie was the favourite. Wanted to try the others the next day, but didn't make it before the closed shop. Will be recommending this to anyone visiting Maui. Thank you for such a lovely experience <3“
“We bought sourdough bread here. It was delicious and had a lovely, perfectly chewy crust. Later, we came back and ordered a margarita pizza. The crust was amazingly thin yet robust and also delightfully chewy. Toppings were fresh and well proportioned.“
“Maui Sweet Shoppe is a delightful find for anyone craving unique and delicious ice cream on the island. Among its standout offerings, the Purple Ube ice cream is a must-try. It’s not just its vibrant color that captivates you, but the rich, creamy flavor that offers a taste of the tropics unlike any other. The shop boasts a friendly atmosphere, with staff who are as warm as the Maui sun, eager to share their love for ice cream with every guest. It’s a cozy spot to indulge in a scoop (or two) of the best local flavors, making it a perfect pit stop for both tourists and locals. Don’t miss out on this sweet experience – the Ube ice cream is a tropical treat you won’t forget.“
“I had myself the Cannery Breakfast/ bacon /Portuguese sausage/Rye bread and yummy Orange juice it was beautiful being there especially first time and it won't be my last either ? but yes the atmosphere here is delightful ? ? ? my next visit shall be the bar ? ? . Mahalo ?“
“Aloha! Charlene (The Kūpuna) is so helpful & knowledgeable! My financee and myself had a change of membership and she brought so much love, light, and laughs into the interaction. Costco is blessed to have someone like her working there! She really brings the Aloha spirit in everything she does there! Mahalo for all your years of service Char!“
“This place is one of our favorite parts of coming to Maui. We like to walk here on the beach in the morning to get breakfast. Excellent German specialties like homemade pretzels, tropical pastries like passion curd buns, and a nice selection of gluten free - banana bread, biscotti, and mochi are some of my faves.Convenient parking lot, friendly helpful service too.“
“We got three 6” pies here (apple, key lime & peach raspberry) the day we flew home. We didn’t have a solid plan for when we planned to eat them, so we just dragged them around with us between picking them up and boarding our flight. In that time the paper bag the pies came in ripped while trekking across the airport parking lot in the Maui heat sending the pies toppling to the asphalt. My husband hastily scooped them up and kept on going. Later they were dropped for a second time in the TSA line, where we acquired a new bag from a kind fellow traveller. Halfway through our six hour flight we declared it “pie time” and were anxious to see what kind of messes the pies would be when we opened the boxes, THEY WERE PERFECT. Not a crumb out of place, not only were they the most durable pies we’ve ever eaten, they were absolutely delicious. We would recommend Maui Pie anyone who loves a good pie while visiting beautiful Maui!“
“I don't care for the bad reviews. The staff are awesome and helpful. Don't expect good service if you feel entitled, they'll treat you like family if you put the effort, but most tourist don't and I see that occur. Depending on your diet, the ready to go food is always satiating, they have a wide of selection for everyone. The moment you walk in, it's straight to business, and the ambiance is always calm, but beware of peak hours, the self checkout line is stacked, and they have limited cashiers. If you need a job, they're looking for daytime cashiers. I hope this helps.“
“We're tourists and found this place last minute. We were surprised to learn that customers order at the counter. Okay, no problem, we waited in line and ordered our dinner. I feel badly because I feel I under-tipped, a meager ~10%, at this point assuming everything else would be self-service, getting place settings, pouring my own glasses from a bottle of wine. Also, keep in mind, that we had not had any service yet. And then, the service was top-notch, catering to our needs, pouring wine, etc. And the food (bruschetta, lasagnas, short ribs, seafood linguine) was very, very good. I regret not tipping more ~20% to your excellent staff and service. May good karma come your way with this 5-star review.“
“The woman working was getting the entire restaurant served pretty efficiently all by herself. The food was pricey for the amount but it was delicious. They only take cash which is annoying but otherwise I was very happy with breakfast. Had the best scone I’ve ever had.“
“Gigi is a Master Cake Artist with a super fun personality!I chose Ghiselani Designer Wedding Cakes for my parents' 50th wedding anniversary because I loved how elegant and detailed Gigi's cakes are on her website. Once Gigi finished with our cake setup, the beauty of it literally took my breath away and I immediately became teary eyed because all the months of planning- phone conversations and text messages with Gigi that went into designing this cake finally became a reality!I really appreciated how responsive she was with me throughout the design process. I wanted to add on some things to the design a couple weeks prior to our event date and Gigi was very accommodating with that. Her attention to the small details on the cake were beyond spectacular. She surprised us with the center of our teal lilies spray painted with gold! The taste of the cake itself was phenomenal. It was light and very moist and the flavors of each layer was bold and tasted like the real deal. There were actual mango chunks and raspberry seeds in the two filling layers we chose which we loved!I also appreciated the other business referrals Gigi suggested to make this event one to remember. Go with Ghiselani Designer Wedding Cakes. She's truly the best!“
