The slowest you will ever ever ever ever ever get your food! 20 minutes for five chicken tenders is ridiculous! This place should close down.

What a great Popeye's! Tenders were delicious (crispy, hot and juicy), seasoned fries were great...kitchen and restaurant were clean, food was fresh and ready fast, and staff was friendly (and patient with us deciding which sauces we wanted) (5/31/2026)

I ordered a classic chicken sandwich and that’s all. I should have looked at it before driving away. I got home and realized they must’ve thought I wanted a mayonnaise sandwich with some chicken in it. I had to wipe away so much mayonnaise it was grossing me out. I don’t think anyone in their right mind would think it was ok to serve this to someone. They weren’t busy I was the only one in the drivethru. 1 star goes to the friendly young lady who took my order. Probably won’t come back here again so if that was what your sandwich maker intended for they got it.

I was worried when I had to wait 7 minutes for my pie that I was going to get cold fries and chicken, but everything was fresh and hot. Fries were crispy.

Popeyes in Pahoa usually provides good service. The food is good. Employees are friendly. Unfortunately, Popeye's has closed at this location. They will be missed.

Need to update their hours for renovations. I keep coming around 5 and they are always closed even though online says it will be open. 3 times in 2 weeks now. Last time we came there was workers in there telling us no, 4 hours early !? If you have renovations please update your online hours as well, I saw many people come to try when I did.

Went for popcorn shrimp, the reason I went out of my way to eat there. Not on the menu. Was hungry so settled for some butterfly shrimp. Was ok but not worth going out of my way for. Don't think its a local decision. Hope popeyes reconsideres this mistake; was definitely my reason for visiting, and the're still new to the island too. So sad.

This restaurant is absolutely ridiculous. Food takes over 45 minutes to get. I tried ordering a half hour ahead of time because I know they take forever, and I had to cancel my order because they said it would be another 30 minutes. Hire more people. Do something. There’s no reason for that.

It seems everytime i come here to get a convenient bit of food, its anything but. They tell you that your order isnt quite ready yet, and have you park where theres no parking spots. Causing the goodwill employees to get pissy because the donation parking spots are being taken by popeyes patrons.

By the time I finally get my food, the drinks I have are watered down or gone, the service is egregiously slow and the food isn't worth the wait to be honest

The food that sits waiting for the one item that isnt done gets Luke warm to cold, and yet again popeyes was a waste of money and time

People understand that they have to wait for food in drive through, i dont understand why im made to park everytime I go through the drive through. I order the food 30 monit3s in advance for christ sake and it still takes another 30 to get to me

Super clean, bright, nice. The staff are slightly lazy but the food was superb. Just wish it wasn't so far away from Hilo.

The mac and cheese is chronic! Best mac +cheese I have ever had, by far.

And they have a soda fountain. Just saying.
