“Happened to be walking by, saw how busy it was, and loved the chill vibe so I waited for a table and so glad I did. Staff is EXTREMELY FRIENDLY AND HELPFUL! Food was outstanding! The breakfast burrito was 10/10! The smash burger is one of the best burgers I’ve had in a long long time. The pancakes were fluffy and full of flavor! Would 110% recommend Cafe Mambo and definitely worth the wait if they don’t have an empty table!“

“We had to pinch ourselves when we walked into this lovely culinary oasis. The menu is hugely diverse and absolutely delicious! The desserts are phenomenal and the service is fantastic! “I am happy to see this local family get a brick and mortar location. For those of you that are from upcountry. These are the guys that used to do the ono BBQ on the weekends a few years ago. Then they were in Lahaina for a little while then at Foodland Maui Lani. Now they have this place. The food is still great and the value is awesome. These guys really give you bang for your buck. This trip I ordered the BBQ Steak plate and the BBQ chicken Plate. They both come with rice and green salad and their house dressing which I love the taste. I have tried almost everything on the menu with the exception of some of the specials and I can say they have some of the best BBQ plates on the island. I really like their BBQ chicken the flavor is all the way thru the meat. The location is new to them so it is still a little bare but they are working on it. I highly recommend these guys. The service is really good and I really like the fact that I am supporting hard working locals than know how to crank out good food at a good price. I recommend stopping by. The nice thing is you can buy the meat by the pound if you extra hungry.“

“We needed a place late at night to eat before our flight, and this seemed like one of the best options.
The burgers were satisfying. Nothing special, like something you might have at a friend's BBQ, but they're solid. Fries were pretty great and my wife enjoyed her drink quite a bit.

Service was excellent, our waitress Nancy was quick to help and was regularly checking in on us to see if we needed anything.

Really solid food option, especially compared to most airport restaurants I've been in.“
