“I loved International House of Pancakes since I was a child. We use to go on the 4th of July after watching the Fireworks show at the Santa Monica Peer with my late Cousin. Who could ever forget the Rooty Tooty Fresh' N Fruity advertisements that has become a staple in my heart when I think of Ihop. I say this to say that I was happy when they reopened not to long ago since they closed during the Pandemic.

They're not busy at the moment or at least on the days I went. So it makes it easy to get your food without a long wait. I do think that the Customer Service could be 25% better with how they attend to the Tables and checking to see if you're ready to order or if you need something. Also making sure that the order is correct before you walk away can avoid errors even when you're not necessarily feeling it or having a bad day. Because your customer can also provide energy in return to help you know that what you do is appreciated.

That's the only reason I can't give them 5 Stars on Service. The value comes from the right amount of attention and not allowing the guest to look for you because you have caught eye contact or walked by the table to check on them. And they were a little weak in this area and this was at different times of the day and days of the week I have been here to this location. All in all I'll be returning as it wasn't enough to turn me off as I do enjoy their food and it's close to home.

Parking: Parking can be difficult because it is shared by so many Business and Restaurants. Time of day and Holidays play a role as well.“

“Food is excellent! Service is excellent! True down south taste & feel. . . Trust the man, get the tartar sauce! He makes it homemade & it is absolutely delicious! We got it on the side (because we usually hate tartar sauce) & we regret not getting it directly on our sandwiches.

“I’ve been to multiple luaus on the island and I have to say that this is the most organized, intimate, and smooth luau on Oahu. You are able to choose your seats prior to arrival (when you pay online) which is nice because there’s no surprises. There are great shows prior to eating and the story telling of the performances is top tier. The time, effort, and energy put into making this luau special for your family surpasses any other on island and really shines through when you’re there. The food is pretty decent and good portions overall but you only get one plate. This is not buffet style like some other ones but that’s ok because the food quality is better.“
