“A wonderful family-run fruit stand close to Akaka falls which sells fresh coconut, sugarcane, small bananas and more. The majority of their produce (except coconuts) comes from a 25 acre farm to the back of the fruit stand. Coconut juice was refreshing and delicious. The owner is knowledgeable on his produce and courteous to his customers.“

“The good is amazing! Anything you order is great! Love ordering the Horchata or Agua Fresca to complement the meal. The service is fast and friendly. They really go above and beyond to make their customers happy and are great at recommending things to try if it is your first time. Lots of food for the price and the ride out to Honomu is very scenic. Very laid back community. A little outside of the town of Hilo, but worth the drive!“
