Wonderful food. Reminds of the best Mexican restaurants in Southern California. The refried beans alone are worth the trip. Generous amounts of cheese in the quesadillas and beef in the tacos. The people are welcoming and full of aloha.
ALOHA!!! My family came to the island on vacation from Arizona. My parents zip lined in Hilo and we were recommended to eat here, it did not disappoint. From the moment you walk in the customer service is AMAZING. They cater to allergies as well ! My mom has a gluten and soy allergy, they pointed her in the right direction of what to eat. We got our food extremely fast !! When the food came out it was super hot, you can tell it had been freshly made. The wife/ owner was amazing...read full review

The good is amazing! Anything you order is great! Love ordering the Horchata or Agua Fresca to complement the meal. The service is fast and friendly. They really go above and beyond to make their customers happy and are great at recommending things to try if it is your first time. Lots of food for the price and the ride out to Honomu is very scenic. Very laid back community. A little outside of the town of Hilo, but worth the drive!
