Convenient to the National park entrance, and easy to find. Two brand new picnic tables to sit and eat.
The food was delicious and reasonably priced with good portions.
After walking 9 miles in the park, these tacos were sooo welcome.
We happened along this food truck waiting for the sun to set at Volcano National Park. The food was delicious! So much for for the price we paid.
If you find yourself on the Big Island of Hawaii and are over near volcano village on a Sunday or Monday, I absolutely recommend stopping by Rico’s Taco Shop!! This place was absolutely delicious!!

Visitors often find the flavor great and simple, with some returning for seconds. The small floral selection and the sighting of the Hawaiian honeycreeper, ʻApapane, add to the charm of the area. The small two-person food truck offers well-packed and nicely arranged tacos that exceed expectations.
