“I brought Chef Allen Hess my freshly caught fish. He expertly prepared it into culinary art! The atmosphere and service is top notch, as well as the flavors and presentation. Do yourself a favor and order a few oyster shooters as well. 🤤“

Restaurant and food was incredible, and this was the best restaurant we have been to for accommodating gluten free needs. This really made my son happy and was a nice touch for him. “This was our second visit to Halani as the first time was perfect. The hotel is stunning with a lovely relaxed vibe, staff are genuinely warm and friendly. I had the blackened ahi steak on both visits as it's so good, rare tuna with a lovely spiced coating and Asian influence in the coconut curried giant couscous. Try the deserts! The baked Hawaiian was a tropical take on baked Alaska, and the bread pudding was light and delicious. We'll be back again I hope.“

“Beautiful atmosphere! Food was delicious and tasted fresh. I was happy with the many delicious vegetarian options and my friend enjoyed the seafood. The cocktails were fantastic as well- highly recommend the coconut washed tequila drink.
What really made this experience special was the service. Michael was incredibly knowledgeable about the menu. It was also truly a pleasure meeting Thor, the manager. He was the one who introduced us to that wonderful tequila drink!
Food is on the pricier side- but it is island dining at a resort. I thought price points were fair for the location and quantity of food.
The views are also spectacular - recommend booking a reservation for sunset!“

“I loved the food. We ate at the bar and enjoyed the conversation of bartender Brandon. He was entertaining and attentive. We had the lobster tacos, poke bowl and shrimp cerviche. All were delicious. The margarita was a scrumptious desert. The lantern ceremony was also beautiful.“

“The outdoor-like environment allowed us to enjoy our meal in an open environment although we were situated on the inner side of the restaurant. The service was very good. The staff was efficient, courteous, and attentive. My wife had ribs and the meat fell of the bone. I enjoyed the pan fried ono. Each dish was filling and very flavorful. We also had a chocolate dipped ice cream dessert that was large enough for both of us to enjoy. It was the topping on top of an already great dinner. Overall, our experience was excellent!“
