We tried a number of items including coconut shrimp, tempura fish, fried oysters, and crab cake sliders. Everything we ate was really good. Cooked well and very tasty. Our only disappointment was we were not around long enough to eat there a second time.
The fish was inedible. It tasted like someone took fish that's going bad and overcooked it - it was bland and chewy and suspicious to the point that I asked my kid to stop eating. The coconut shrimp was ok. Wouldn't recommend the squid.
The food was solidly ok. Nothing groundbreaking, just fried food with minimal spicing and flavors. However, even with hawaii pricing, the entrees were very expensive, and the (frozen) fries were used basically to fill the rest of the box from the two fish sticks and three pieces of fish you might get. All the entrees we got had small portions of actual food with tons of fries. It wasn’t bad, but not the best.
