I really wanted to like this restaurant, and to be fair, there were some positives. The service was genuinely good--friendly, attentive, and welcoming. The flavors in the dishes I tried were also solid, which makes this review even more frustrating. Unfortunately, the priced just didn't match the execution. My fish came out way overcooked, to the point where it completely overshadowed the flavors that were clearly meant to shine. I expected a much higher level of consistency and attention to detail. Overall, it's disappointing to see good service and good flavor ideas dragged down by poor execution and steep prices. I'm not sure I'd return unless things improve. It also sucked because it was my Thanksgiving dinner, but whatever. Also - a manager didn't even bother coming around to see if there was anything they could do to make it right.

Food and service were both great. Price was high. If you don't know it's located in the resort, you can be easily late for your reservation.

We purchased the seaside experience for sunset. The service was perfect, we enjoyed a spectacular sunset, and the food was amazing. My wife had the lobster and I had the seared scallops. My only issue was that the scallops dish was a very small amount of food for the price. We planned to order sides but our server suggested that the dishes we ordered had enough food that we wouldn't need them. The scallops did have Brussels sprouts (about two, cut in halves), and three scallops. The server stated that the dish had recently moved from the starter dishes to a main. I felt like the kitchen didn't get the memo. 🤪 my wife's dish had plenty of food, so she shared with me.

Booked over a month in advance. Thought it would have been a better experience. Waiter was worse that a fast food server. Couldn't give you time of day. In fact everyone working seems so busy, but it wasn't. We've dined there many times before. Most likely won't return.

Wonderful ambiance and beautiful esthetics. Drinks and food is supremely prepared with care and artistic flair. Highly recommend this Maui staple!

Beautiful view and great service. Our table ordered a variety of menu items and it seemed that those that ordered steak and the catch of day were the happiest. A couple of us ordered a shrimp and pork belly dish that was great on the shrimp side the pork belly was undercooked and very unpleasant. We also ordered an appetizer, duck fat bites I think it was called. It was terrible. We all took one bite and the rest sat. We told the waitress we didn't like them and she didn't offer an apology, an alternative or to take it off the bill, which I found surprising since over 1/2 was left and she recommended it.

Nice experience with great ambience. Swordfish was outstanding as was my wife's filet. Seems like waiter forgot about us after our food arrived but we survived

Lovely evening. Food was excellent and service friendly with great timing for the courses.

Very nice atmosphere, however, they have out priced themselves for our justification of a meal. Only one cocktail each, dinner cost us $450 with the tip.

The salmon was perfect. The curry did not overpower the lobster and shrimp. Excellent courses.

Buyer beware: you pay for the 'privilege' of dining here. Thought I was in NYC. $500 for 3 people -- no alcohol, no dessert. Food was a 6.5 out of 10. Waiter was fine. Personable and professional. The experience just does not measure up to the price point. I know Maui has experienced some tough times in recent years -- and they have my complete sympathy and support -- but they should take a valuable lesson from Las Vegas (resort fees, parking, $20 bottle of water, restaurant prices, etc). At some point, you cross the invisible line and people make alternative plans.

Nothing in Hawaii is cheap, but this was way over priced for average food, service, and setting.

We were afraid this was going to be an average resort restaurant, but instead were amazingly surprised. We had one of the most memorable meals. The chef had a special with a Tomahawk steak for two that was unbelievable. Service and atmosphere were equally as good. We will definitely be back!

You cannot beat the view and the restaurant's ambiance. The cocktails and food were way overpriced! I had hoped the food would have a special gourmet element. The filet was a beautiful cut but the Demi glacé tastes like a pot roast gravy. The catch of the day was fine. The risotto side was delicious, but not as a 50.00 side.

It was a beautiful setting. We planned dinner at sunset which was fantastic. The food was great. It's a rather small selection, which I like, because then you don't have to spend 40 minutes deciding what to eat. The only complaint I have is that the service was a little slow. However, our server was wonderful, gracious, and answered every question we had.
