“The menu has changed. Pasta items are no longer available, but several new appetizers and 'fold' Za'Co sandwiches. The new appetizers looked very good and our (new) Italian was great. “We had so much fun at this tiki lounge! I was on a mission to try as many Mai Tai’s as I could to find the best one! Pretty sure this was it! And then the bartender brought us out a mini size each of their delicious piña colada’s! It was really a fun place to be. The food was good and the drinks were excellent! “Upon arriving to the Fairmont Kea Lani after a long 9 hour flight, we were able to get a quick pizza that we brought up to our room to eat. Stopped in to get ice cream one night. I got the banana bread sundae and my fiancé got the chocolate Oreo shake. Both delicious. The store also had coffee, teas, and typical gift shop items. Everything of course is super expensive but what else would you expect. Overall recommend.“

While traveling with our two kids, hunger struck and we stumbled upon this lovely pizza spot right inside the hotel—and what a pleasant surprise! We ordered the veggie pizza, and I was a bit unsure if the kids would go for all the toppings. But they absolutely loved it! And so did we.
The pizza was super fresh, perfectly cooked, and flavorful right down to the last bite. You can really taste the quality ingredients and care in preparation. It’s a great option for families looking for a quick, delicious meal without leaving the resort.

“On Monday night I went and was helped by Lu and one of her coworkers. I had just arrived from a flight, and since everything else was already closed, I got there late. They were already closed too, and still they decided to make me a pizza and put so much love, lots of cheese, and such good vibes into it. We were overindulged from the moment we sat down at the table with the most beautiful view, surrounded by soothing live music. The care and concern from each and every staff member was evident, making sure that the best possible bottle of wine for our meal was chosen, that our water glass was never too empty, that each plate delivered was well executed and well presented and explained, when done each time dishes were taken away quickly, the pacing of the meal was well done, just everything and everything! Perfection! And a special note to Sasha- we already noted during our meal service- the finesse and skill you brought to the level of service was just outstanding! Kudos to you and to the team that supports you in making sure that each of your tables gets the attention that they deserve! To say that our anniversary dinner was memorable is truly an understatement! (It feels like we are saying perfect too much! But we do mean it!) Then to end the evening celebration with our chocolate lava cake surrounded by white and milk chocolate fondue with banana bread and fresh fruits was simply scrumptious! Chef Junior Ulep, Mahalo for our special night, with our deepest grateful hearts, we appreciate your mana and the joyfulness in which you have chosen to feed us and our fellow patrons at Kula Lodge Restaurant!“

“Pleasant, not a bad meal to switch up from all the seafood & local inspired dishes we’ve been eating all week. Pretty quiet low key place. Food was good & not overly heavy, but wouldn’t compete with high end Italian cuisine (this wasn’t our expectation). Food seemed very authentic (pizza crust & vodka sauce tasted like it was made on the spot). Penne Rosa was a very good dish! Nothing we had seemed to be something that would put us into a coma for the rest of the day. 4.5/5“

“I just wanted to give a special shoutout to Margaret! Loulu was the closest spot I could grab an iced coffee in the afternoons and she made my daily ritual an extra-special treat.

She was so friendly on day one, on day two she recognized me, and on day three she remembered my order. I can't imagine how many tourists each day the staff at Loulu see, but Margaret went out of her way to make me feel special and as a former long-time coffeeshop employee, I know how much work that takes and I appreciate it so much. Loulu is lucky to have someone like that and because of her I'll definitely be back.“
