Good value for money, we liked our salmon and chicken plates. However I ordered a plate that should have come with rice and pasta salad but ended up having on chicken. Hopefully we had the salmon plate from which we could share the rice. Also the service was not really pleasant, the guy didn’t even reply when I told him Merry Christmas.

Food not bad. Mochiko chicken and sweet sour pork tasty and not hard and dried out. Think they should change oil tho’. Roast duck sucked. No flavor. Hamburger was pretty good. Cashier really nice and accommodating with combo of my choice and subbing noodles for rice. Would have taken more thought into updating place.

Called 2 hours ahead to have soup and egg rolls ready @ 850pm. As soon as I got there at 857pm they JUST STARTED my order. I should have waited to tip them if they did as instructed . Had to still wait an additional 10 to 15 minutes after I arrived. This place is a fail. The front counter guy doesn't look clean or or have good hygene. Terrible service.

I'm so confused as to what the actual name of this place is. The sign on the facade says "General Chinese BBQ" or something along those lines, but the menu states "King's BBQ & Chinese Restaurant No. 5". I tried inquiring with a staff member but that proved nearly impossible.ATMOSPHERE:Located in the dismal Wailuku Towne Center, the dirty windows match their surroundings perfectly. Lots of empty indoor tables for the choosing. No hot foods line, fortunately I say, so everything is made to order.MENU:Breakfast, burgers, noodles, local-style plate lunches, Chinese dishes and a catering menu.RESERVATIONS:None.PARKING:Free & plentiful within the mall's grounds.FOOD:BBQ Chicken - $11.99It's reassuring to know that if L&L ever closes up shop, I'll have an alternative as this version was eerily close in savory taste & moist texture. I opted for all mac salad and no rice, though L&L's recipe is slightly tastier. Portion size was good but another piece of flattened-out thigh would've been appreciated. Highly recommended.SERVICE:Phone ordering was quick, easy and friendly, as was pick up.TIP:Another "King's BBQ" is set to open in Puunene Shopping Center soon (in between Starbucks and Fork & Salad). Perhaps number 6? General Chinese No. 2? Who knows!OVERALL:Like a Michelin inspector, go for the food, not the ambiance.

Took my worker to have lunch here and ordered mixed fried seafood plate and combo plate. Both came out overcooked almost burned, dry, rubbery and taste horrible. Waste of $35. Never eat here! Worst food on Maui!

My favorite dish is shrimp fried rice and shrimp fried noodles as well. I also older their orange chicken first time I ordered a takeout with a full box, really satisfied with the quantity of the food

Growing up in nyc eating Chinese food I never thought of eating here, even after living here for 3+ years. Prices are still pretty good compared to the recession and other spots on the island. Great portions for the price too. Last but not least the food is surprisingly better than I thought. Cant go wrong with the slushies either!
