This has to be one of the best pasteles I have ever had. We had to call the owner since they weren’t where google takes you, but instead were down the street. The owner let us know where he was, we put in our order and then he brought it to our car.The flavor hits you right away in a good way. Loved the tasteOf the rice and pasteles. Definitely need to try it again before I leave Maui.

You all need a website, as that's my background, and maybe we can help with a basic cool website for little or 0 cost through a go dad type of deal so they can get more exposure,, as ive never been there, but I will give them a 5-star as they seem amazing from what ive seen, and they have been feeding West Maui fro free after the fires for days now, so god bless them all there at Pastele house, and thanks for all there great and kind service to Maui, as we live in Bakersfield ca, but Maui is like our 2nd home in our hearts for many years now. god bless all in Maui and stay well!

Decided to go to the Sunday Night Market after work. They had a long line to order but surprisingly the food was ready in less than five minutes. The lumpia combo late was great. Lumpia was delicious and the gandule rice was good. Pastele was delicious. I really enjoyed it and will definitely come again.

One of the local staples in Maui, Pastele House has always been known to be one of the friendliest and kindest staff who are always hardworking to bring their culture's food to the Maui community. There was one time that I actually was studying during my college days when they were offering to give small plate lunches to the students studying on campus that day, and I always hear similarly from others about how much they help and provide for Maui. Their signature Pastele and Panadeja are always a go-to for my family, but my personal favorites have to be the garlic shrimp and steak plates - if you're looking for a filling meal with amazing savory taste and flair, Pastele House is where to go (and you can find them at local events like the Sunday Night Market or parked at the Wailuku Food Truck Park)- Miguel Morales Photography

I have never had pastele from this food truck. It was tasty, and so was the gandule rice. It could have a little bit more beef in the pastele, but the flavor overall was good. I would have it again. Next time I need to try something else.

Kept seeing the truck parked by the courthouse - we were there for work for three weeks. Saw them at a street fair and HAD to stop. So glad we did! The food is made fresh, so there's a little wait, but so worth it! First time I had pastele lumpia - yummy! Everything was so good and you know it was made from scratch with love! Can't wait to get back there in May!!

This is truly a FAMILY run business and it's one of the best and kindest families on the island of Maui. They are located at the Wailuku food trucks lot at 1960 Main Street in front of Maluhia Collective and next to Dolish and Like Poke. They also do a lot of events so you can find them all around maui town. You can often see their kids helping and working (taking orders etc). The food is excellent but I am also here to talk about acai bowls. It's a weird thing for them to have on the menu since it doesn't match with the theme of the truck but oh my gosh, it's a MUST. I've told at least a hundred people about it because I am an acai bowl connoisseur. This is one of my favorites on the island. They don't add apple juice to thin out the base. It's a solid thick base that doesn't melt immediately after you order it. It comes with however many toppings you want to add at no extra charge and it's a huge serving. I add my own bee pollen (from home) lol. But you HAVE TO TRY IT. 10/10. I eat it at least once a week. The texture is perfect.

WHY would I go to Pastele House and not get a pastele, I will never know. But I can say that their açaí bowls are fire and I have no regretsMy bf and found Pastele House by accident after finding out Dolish, their neighbor, was closed. Lol. At the time, both were located in a food truck hub on Main St., but it seems they rotate locations frequently.AÇAÍ BOWL: Thicccc a** açaí that barely melted. I'd mostly had slushy, soupy açaí in the past-- unlike those, their açaí has BODY lol. The texture is more like a frozen custard, yet miraculously without the brain freeze? + toppings were fresh, crisp, packed together with savory-sweet lilikoi butter. The butter is to die for. Ngl probably the best we'd had on the island so farMy bf's vibrant-and-unfortunately-not-pictured spirulina-mango bowl was even tastier than it looked. We haven't stopped talking about Pastele House since ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

AMAZING service - quick, efficient, and friendly!! Food is prepared when ordered and the acai bowls are out-of-this-world!Now located at the new Wailuku Food Truck space on Main St. with a nice sized parking lot located in the back - turn right after you see the food trucks, then another quick right into their shared lot.

I ordered a panadeja plate tonight at the Maui Sunday Market. NOT HAPPY. Very garlicky, not my type of vibes…
