The food is somewhat uninspired, and they were out of several menu items during some visits. Portions are on the small side, and wine is served in plastic glasses, which is understandable given the beach location, although some glasses had a strange smell. Despite these minor issues, the food remains tasty, especially the catch of the day and the burger with jalapeño sauce. The stunning views and resort ambiance make Hau Tree a worthwhile stop, especially to enjoy a beautiful sunset. The restaurant is currently undergoing renovations, but this does not significantly affect the overall experience. Friendly staff like Conor and Brandy enhance the visit with great recommendations and service, making it a memorable place for a relaxed beachside meal.
