Portions are on the smaller side, and wine is served in plastic glasses, which is expected at a beach location, although some glasses have had a strange smell. Hau Tree is currently undergoing renovations, but this does not significantly impact the overall experience. The restaurant validates parking, allowing guests to enjoy the beach afterward or order takeout during their visit. The friendly staff enhances the experience with great recommendations, making it a memorable place for a relaxed meal while taking in the gorgeous sunset.
