“Where do I start... we were looking for a locally owned restaurant and landed on trying out Five Points in Dallas Center. Short drive from Grimes and located this gem in the heart of the town. We were warmly welcomed and quite at home. TJ assisted us and we could not.of been better taken care of. I had the Frankenstein dip which had smoked pork and yes, smoked cream cheese on what had to be a locally sourced bun. it was so amazing. Full of flavor. my husband had the rueben and he said it was one of the best he has ever had. We tried the Mac and cheese and the onion rings as our sides... both amazing. I failed to mention our hand shaken drinks... I had a mojito (they picked the mint from their plant right in front of us) and a lovely margarita. Take the short drive and visit them soon. We will be back!“

“My wife and I were there at 4:30 on 9/25/2024. Each ordered a tenderloin. Our server asked if we needed an extra bun, I wish I had ordered the second bun, The tenderloin was half an inch thick and the size of a dinner plate. It tasted wonderful. this was the first time in my life I couldn't finish a tenderloin. Will defintely be back!“

“We just had great tenderloins at the 5th Quarter in Van Meter. It was our first time there. Clean, friendly, good menu. Maybe the best tenderloin ever. Obviously home done. Not overlarge but I still could only eat half of it. Friendly waitress. No downside for us.“
“They've really tried to change in the last 5 years or so. They offer daily special meals like steak night (mondays) and taco night (tuesdays). The steaks are legit some of the best I've ever had. Served with very well seasoned grilled onions and mushrooms.
Always great service. Small hometown feel. Love it!
They could improve the beer and liquor offerings. Very limited and no taps.“

“Today we stopped in as we were camping in the area. The restaurant was very clean and well maintained. The food was hot and delicious. The service was more than impeccable and want to say a BIG THANK YOU to our waitress Angie for being extremely kind to our family.
