It’s a fun place for the whole family to hang out. Great menu with gluten free options & fast service. We always enjoy eating at Algona AXE House.
We absolutely love this place
We had supper here on Sunday with a group of about 25 people—and we didn't have a reservation (definitely not something I'm proud of!).
Despite that, the staff was incredibly friendly and accommodating. There was only one server and one cook working, so our drinks took a little while to come out, which was completely understandable given the size of our group and the fact that they were also taking care of other customers.

Algona Axe House is a pleasant spot with a great selection of food. The curds are a standout, and the Chix tenders are a favorite. The menu offers a variety of options, including the BLT + egg, burgers, and the Top Dog beer. The atmosphere is relaxing and comfortable, making it a great spot to hang out. While service can be slow at times, the wait staff are friendly and the employees are overall great people.
