We were eating at Perkins across from some rude ladies who got very impatient with the only server working. She was doing a great job and keeping up and making her tables happy. The ladies proceed to yell across the dinning room about boxes that they asked for but the server stayed calm and was polite. Apparently, they couldn't wait a few minutes for the server to come back after she told them she'd be right back with boxes. They got up and went to pay and the rant wasn't...

The Altoona location has been our favorite and this is the first time I felt the need to express my disappointment. I had the chicken fried steak and my wife the sausage biscuits and gravy. I chose the chicken fried steak over the sirloin because I wanted the gravy for my meal. There was a small spoonful of gravy on my steak, not even enough to spread across the steak with a knife and it was not even real sausage gravy ( had better out of a can). Hostess met us at the entrance with a smile and a friendly greeting. Service was prompt and friendly. The food was great. I would definitely recommend this Perkins to family and friends.
