“It's a fine Hy Vee. The Wine and Spirits clerks are particularly fun employees to chop it up with. Any time I need help, the folks there are always on the ball. One time some random asshole college student came up to me and tried to recruit me to join his Amway team, but that's mostly just a funny anecdote and has nothing to do with the store. I hope his pyramid scheme fails and he gets punched at an Insane Clown Posse concert.“
“i was having a really great time at this bar.. and then i went up for a drink and then the bartender, i think her name was allie, decided to squirt liquid at me from across the bar. i would usually not mind a "prank" to this degree but i was wearing a shirt that meant a lot to me (it was my great grandfathers war veteran shirt). i will definitely return to this bar but will be avoiding this "allie".“
“Stumbled across The Tattered Toad when the orchard we were going to didn't have any vegetarian options for lunch. The fried cauliflower, mac abd cheese bites, poppers, onion rings and hot pepper bites were so tasty. Everyone enjoyed their food and they even have a kids menu. There is a super fun playground across the street that all 3 kids plus the grown ups had fun in.“
“Great service, great food. I hadn't been to the new location yet. I was slightly upset when I found out they no longer serve their "Here today, gone to Maui" Mahi dish or Bison burgers. Overall, it was still a great experience, and I will be back!Parking: The parking lot behind the building is shared with other surrounding businesses, so it was a little difficult to find a parking spot. I would recommend coming early or planning on walking.“
