Fast and tasty
Workers did not get our order right but ice cream was good and done up in timely matter
We just went through the drive thru & ordered an Oreo malt, cotton candy blizzard and I INITIALLY requested a cherry dip cone with chocolate ice cream and cherry dipping sauce in a separate cup (it’s a tik tok trend lol)… the voice on the other side said the owner says “no they can’t do the separate dipping sauce” (even though I offered to paid extra for it)… ok then just make it a dip cone in a cup I guess.

Dairy Queen Store in Ames offers a variety of options, from Blizzards to soft serve treats. Despite some inconsistencies, like a lack of fruit in certain orders or liquidy Blizzards due to soft serve mix changes, the quality remains top-notch. The place is popular among kids and university students, especially on hot days. The staff handles busy periods well, although parking might be a challenge. While some customers were disappointed by their experience, many appreciate the range of choices available and the overall service provided.
