“I love this place because the people here have heart, you can feel the care and passion in their food. They are humble, honest people who make amazingly delicious food. When I was at a low point and couldn’t catch a break, the cook said he’d give me the extra crab rangoons he cooked while waiting for me to pick up my order. “It’s okay, remember to pick up the food sooner next time, we’ll be here” I haven’t visited in a while because of my health but those words helped me feel seen. Thank you, you have the best crab rangoons in Ames and you’ve touched my heart. Merry Christmas, que dios te bendiga.“

“This is my favorite place in Ames, each time I want to relax or cheer up I ended up going there. I am a student and I love it that I can work from there. The fire place makes the atmosphere pretty cozy. The staff were always nice. I remember once I came there pretty late that they were about to close but they accept me to stay and have my food and edded up giving me some free cookies that was left from that day bakary. I went to other branches of banera bread but non of them were as clean and pretty as this one.“
