“Went for the first time on a Saturday, so it was very busy and it took 30 min to get my order, but definitely worth it. The bagels are very yummy and soft, also had a turkey bagel sandwich with asiago bagel. The sandwich was delicious, but the chips were stale and old tasting.“

“I had Java Joe's years ago when I first came to Iowa. They left downtown DSM but I'm so glad that I was able to find them again in Ankeny! The coffee is still good and the food (TJ's Bagels) is still just as good as I remember it. The ghost pepper bagel is my favorite! It's got a nice, flavorful spice that goes well with a plain cream cheese on a perfectly chewy bagel. The highlight here is honestly the staff here. They're the real MVPs. Highly recommend!“
