“I like the cold brew, cappuccino was good, love the ambience, not a fan of scones, lacking flavor and overly dry for me, tried the croissant, it was overdone super hot fresh from microwave, not my ideal. But I will keep returning when in town for the good coffee, and nice ambience.“
“Had a wonderful lunch today for three. We sat at the bar and had absolutely wonderful drinks, food, and service. Darius was efficient, so friendly and funny, and made delicious margaritas! The other staff seemed wonderful, too. Tacos and burritos bowl were very yummy. It was my first visit and the other two’s second visit here and it has been across the board awesome both times! “I LOVE Cafe Diem! Every time I go I feel like I’m at home. Tabitha is an amazing barista/host and always helps me with getting a high chair and bringing my drink over. She is very kind and welcoming and makes me want to keep coming back!! I would recommend Cafe Diem to anyone!“
“This is a gem of a coffee shop nestled in NW Ankeny. The drive thru is always busy, but I have always been able to find a nice place to sit and work or visit inside! The house coffee is good and my son loves their cake pops. ?Kid-friendliness: My son loves the cake pops.“
“Tried Blue Bean for the 1st time today! I never really knew that there was a full service coffee shop in addition to the 'office space' element. Madi helped me and she was super friendly and did a great job offering suggestions and explaining the ins/outs of Blue Bean! The latte I had was excellent and the atmosphere and large amount of 'office rental' options available at BB were super cool and inviting.“

“Yummy food! Friendly staff. It happened to be karaoke night. Had a great time. Ate lots of the 36th Street Corn Dip before we took a picture. I had the Honey Garlic Flatbread, and my husband had the Bedda Chedda Stuffed Cheeseburger. Everything came out on time and hot! Jamie was very nice.“
“Have been to Scooters off and on since moving to ankeny 4 years ago and have never once had a bad experience. The staff has always been very kind and helpful with my questions. The coffee actually tastes like coffee no matter what flavors you get though if you are used to Starbucks you may not like this. I can drive up and as long as I know what I want I can be out of there within a minute or 2 of pulling up usually. They always seem to have something that I can get to satiate whatever random craving I seem to have whenever it comes to drinks.Highly recommended. Though I do wish there was more cinnamon drinks year round“
“The donuts are SOOO good. I love mine cream filled. She filled them, there, on the spot! Bear claw was awesome! And she was Hilarious! And fun to be around. I will most definitely be going back, for sure!! Oh, and I got 5 donuts and a milk for like $10!!! The prices are fantastic!“
