“This review has been long and coming. I’ve been coming to specifically this location for over 2 years. I prefer here instead of anywhere else. Also just want to give a shout-out to the manager. I’ve spoken to her on many occasions and she is such a pleasure! Since I’ve been here so much they know exactly the drink I order, and often it’s out and ready before I even order. I worked at Starbucks many years ago and remember how fast-paced it was. So thank you to everyone there for keeping such a great attitude and being so efficient at this store!“
“The food is always very good, but I will stay away from breadbowl soup in the future. It had very little soup in it and it wasn't because of it bring absorbed by the bread. The bread was mostly dry, not much soup. I was very disappointed.So if you love their soup with bread, order the regular bowl with a side of baguette.“
“I highly recommend Black Cat Ice Cream! They have a lot of unique homemade ice cream flavors that are creative and seasonably appropriate. It’s a fun experience with the ice cream options and the atmosphere in the shop and outdoor seating options. I’ve tried their scoops of ice cream, and the ice cream nuggets dipped in fudge. It doesn’t matter what I get, so far I’ve been happy with my selections each time. If you love ice cream and are looking for something fun and unique, this is the place for you!“
“We just catered Cinnaholic for our wedding in August and LOVED them. We had the mini cinnamon rolls & cookie dough for our desserts. Shane sat down with us to go over our options and have a taste testing as well. The options were endless and the set up crew did amazing as well. Would highly recommend Cinnaholic for desserts for any event you may have in the future.“
“I came here expecting to only be served malts, but contrary to the name, they offer much more than just that! Various ice cream novelties, bottled water, and napkins are served for prices that adjust with inflation. They even serve puppy cones, that's just another reason why I wish I was a dog! There was no indoor seating, but I guess that's how they keep their ice cream recipe secret from the public. My go-to order is a turtle sundae without the nuts and caramel, it's a state of ice cream rapture!“
“Had a great time. Hamburger was above and beyond, real French fries ?. Tori did an outstanding job of serving us, my first time there. Nacho burger was excellent. Definitely a great place for a quick bite to eat if you aren't into corporate fast food, this is an ideal spot to stop and have lunch. Prices are reasonable.... $20 per guest, approx. “Picture this; in the area for Ragbrai and a bit off-trail. Caught loitering in-front of the brewery around 11:32 on a Wednesday and the door opened to inquire if I needed water or anything (as it was a scorching day).Small conversation later and I was invited in during off-hours to sample brews while everyone inside went about prepping for the day and tomorrow morning's Ragbrai send-off festivities.The hospitality was insane! The brews were amazing! The company was fantastic! 'Iowa Nice' is an understatement.Brightside Aleworks has a fantastic location and amazing brews, definitely give them a try if you are in the area.“
