“Favorite coffee spot in Iowa!“

“Every time I go to this location everyone is so friendly! Love getting my morning coffee fix here.“

“Great store with friendly staff!“

“Was looking for a better coffee place to support -rather than a corporation that funds unethically internationally, or a local place that treats their employees horribly. I love that Mayalu is local, delicious, and invested in the community. Feels good to spend my treat money here ☕️ 🥮.“

“Beautiful roasts, great pour overs, delicious shots and Gibraltars. Best in the state that I’ve found! Keep it up guys. Omg and the scones…perfect.“

“Best coffee shop in Des Moines!! ☕️ Amazing local honey tooo 🍯“

“Wonderfully kind staff, our first visit was perfect. We tried thier seasonal smores latte and its the best I ever had. I recommend any of their crepes!“

“Love that they are passionate about the community.“

“This coffee shop has it all! 1. The best coffee, specifically the cold brew latte is AMAZING! Second is Spanish Latte when I need something hot. 2. The best hospitality team! I can't say enough great things about Jack and Macie and the rest of the baristas! 3. The owner has created an atmosphere that you can't find at other coffee shops. This place is truly one of a kind!“

“the best place to get coffee“

“Love my Waukee location! Can’t wait for Norwalk! I wish the West Des Moines location was a little more friendly.“

“Tried Hyper Energy Grand Island for the 1st time and wasn't disappointed at all. Great Serviice, great drinks and great flavor.“

“It’s been awhile since I’ve stopped in, but each time I did, the baked goods were heavenly. The shop is cute as well, feels very spacey, but homey too.“

“Absolutely amazing experience! Owner is amazing and really knows his Pokémon cards and his coffee! Has an excellent selection of cards, old and new, and has great prices! Coffee was excellent and cards were even better!“

“Always friendly service, fast and delicious!“

“New paved parking lot directly across 28th street as of summer 2025. C&S will validate parking when changes to paid lot in future, so don’t let lack of parking deter you anymore. Lattes are on par with the best coffee shops in town. Mechanics and shop owner are top notch. I was a Rassy’s refugee and found my new home here.“

“Best selection in town, and my favorite apple fritters! None better!“

“Starting with the management and all the way down to the staff, everyone at 7 Brew is absolutely amazing! The customer service is always top notch, and the Banana Bread Mocha is easily one of the best coffees I’ve ever had. This location never disappoints great people, great drinks, and an awesome experience every time!“

“If you're into loose-leaf tea at all, you have to visit Gong Fu Tea. The wall of tea tins they have behind the counter is insane—they literally have every kind of tea you could possibly think of.

I was a bit overwhelmed by the massive menu, but the staff was super patient and helped me pick out an incredible oolong tea that they brewed perfectly. The vibe inside is incredibly peaceful, minimalist, and relaxing. It's the perfect place in the East Village to get away from the noise, sit down, and just enjoy a really high-quality cup of tea.“

“Just popped into The Coffeesmith to try it out for the first time - I immediately had to run and leave a review bc it’s just that good! I tried the summer seasonal smores latte, I am a smores latte connoisseur, and this one was amazing!! But what really had me running to leave a stellar review? The almond patty pastry. Only one bite into it and I’ve determined it’s going to be something I crave way too often. Growing up in Eastern Iowa as a bohemie, iykyk, I frequently visited Jaarsma’s and know my way around almond pastries of all kinds. The Coffesmith’s almond patty rivals all others! You have to have it! 🤩🥐“

“I'm extremely picky about boba so it can be hard to find boba places that I like, and I thought I had found my favorite boba place... and then I tried Zenko and now other boba will never beat it lol. I'm a very routine-order person so I've only ever tried the black sugar milk tea with boba here, but I lowkey just never bothered trying any of their other drinks simply because this one is so good. Most of my friends who do like several of their drinks also tend to gravitate towards the black sugar milk tea as well, though, so I feel validated in always ordering the same drink over and over :) It's also so cozy and fun inside all the shops--I've been to three of the locations and they all have the same relaxing vibe, lots of plants and soft music.“

“Chowrastha Indian Grill & Eatery serves delicious Indian food with rich flavors and great portions. The ambiance is cozy, and the service is friendly, making it a great spot for a satisfying meal!“

“My 9 year old son and I visited the week after Christmas. We are from out of town and looking for unique experiences in Des Moines and this fit the bill. The baristas were so friendly and welcoming. The atmosphere was cozy. The cats were obviously the highlight for us. We enjoyed our hour watching them play, skitter around and interact with eachother. Core memories made for sure.“

“Amazing selection and great taste! The staff is so knowledgeable and always give me great recommendations when I can’t decide what I want! Keep up the great work!“

“Always so fast, but not in a hurry. Just watched them clear a line of 5 cars in 1 minute. Drinks always taste the same.“

“We always have a great experience at this location. Wonderful coffee and a great atmosphere.“

“Great local food with excellent service!“

“Gotta get a Sputnik- you’ll never go back!“

“Great service and delicious healthy food. Thanks Saphyre and Alexa!“

“#AmazingCoffee #ZanzibarsCoffeeAdventure 🥰☕“

“Great coffee! We hit the drive through and it was maybe a minute from the time we ordered to the time our drinks were in our hands. Both were prepared perfectly and at enjoyable temperatures. A lot of places don’t listen when asked to make a latte drinkable temperature instead of scalding hot. Whoever made ours this morning did great!
Thank you, caribou crew!“

“They have the best coffee and yummy food!!“

“What a fantastic place to enjoy delicious coffee. Thank you… your shop brings us joy!“

“The gluten free breakfast sandwich is awesome! Doesn’t even taste gluten free!!!“

“Every single person that I have had the pleasure of ordering from had been amazing. Now for the drinks. Absolutely knocks the competitors out of the coffee/drinks game. I will make the drive Everytime to get their drinks. I have a competitor store by me and will skip it to come to 7 Brew!“

“Excellent, freshly roasted coffee, and great people.“

“Cassidy was so courteous and kind, she remade our guests from out of towns drink when they ordered something incorrectly. No questions asked and with a smile on her face. Love this Caribou, visit frequently and am never disappointed. Cozy atmosphere, friendly staff and delicious lattes!“

“One of my favorite local coffee shops for sure. Great spot and coffee. The quality of drink seems heavily dependent on barista though. I get coffee here all the time and when made right, hands down one of the best. Just ordered a $7 latte from here today and it tastes like watered down milk. I feel like when I ask for half caffeine, some baristas just put half regular shot and no decaf shot, hence watery, bahhhh. Not always the case but can be a bummer when spending $7.“

“Absolutely delicious food and very authentic. America is usually our waitress and she does a fantastic job. The enchiladas de mole are my go-to rn. The tacos are phenomenal. The best in town.“

“All the coffee! Quiche, banana bread, acai bowls...basically anything I have ordered“

“A special place to create great memories 🍦🍨“

“The drinks are always delicious but the staff here made my day!!“

“They have the best protein shakes. I’m excited to try the pudding and waffles. They smell delicious.“

“I LOVE Cafe Diem! Every time I go I feel like I’m at home. Tabitha is an amazing barista/host and always helps me with getting a high chair and bringing my drink over. She is very kind and welcoming and makes me want to keep coming back!! I would recommend Cafe Diem to anyone!“

“Great neighborhood coffee.“

“I recently moved to Norwalk and it was my first time going to scooters. I’ve been there now three times and I’ve only been in my new place for four nights. I just love their energy, the positivity, and patience that they all carry. The drinks and food are always amazing. Today I was redeeming my free reward and the app was very slow, but Katie was very patient and kind with me. Everyone else I’ve encountered has been very kind as well. A great place to go and start your day. !!!“

“The flights are fantastic. Ask questions if you’re unsure.“
