The atmosphere was cozy. The cats were obviously the highlight for us. We enjoyed our hour watching them play, skitter around and interact with eachother. Core memories made for sure.“

“New paved parking lot directly across 28th street as of summer 2025. C&S will validate parking when changes to paid lot in future, so don’t let lack of parking deter you anymore. Lattes are on par with the best coffee shops in town. Mechanics and shop owner are top notch. I was a Rassy’s refugee and found my new home here.“

“If you're into loose-leaf tea at all, you have to visit Gong Fu Tea. The wall of tea tins they have behind the counter is insane—they literally have every kind of tea you could possibly think of.

I was a bit overwhelmed by the massive menu, but the staff was super patient and helped me pick out an incredible oolong tea that they brewed perfectly. The vibe inside is incredibly peaceful, minimalist, and relaxing. It's the perfect place in the East Village to get away from the noise, sit down, and just enjoy a really high-quality cup of tea.“

I tried the summer seasonal smores latte, I am a smores latte connoisseur, and this one was amazing!! But what really had me running to leave a stellar review? The almond patty pastry. Only one bite into it and I’ve determined it’s going to be something I crave way too often. Growing up in Eastern Iowa as a bohemie, iykyk, I frequently visited Jaarsma’s and know my way around almond pastries of all kinds. The Coffesmith’s almond patty rivals all others! You have to have it! 🤩🥐“

“I'm extremely picky about boba so it can be hard to find boba places that I like, and I thought I had found my favorite boba place... and then I tried Zenko and now other boba will never beat it lol. I'm a very routine-order person so I've only ever tried the black sugar milk tea with boba here, but I lowkey just never bothered trying any of their other drinks simply because this one is so good. Most of my friends who do like several of their drinks also tend to gravitate towards the black sugar milk tea as well, though, so I feel validated in always ordering the same drink over and over :) It's also so cozy and fun inside all the shops--I've been to three of the locations and they all have the same relaxing vibe, lots of plants and soft music.“

“One of my favorite local coffee shops for sure. Great spot and coffee. The quality of drink seems heavily dependent on barista though. I get coffee here all the time and when made right, hands down one of the best. Just ordered a $7 latte from here today and it tastes like watered down milk. I feel like when I ask for half caffeine, some baristas just put half regular shot and no decaf shot, hence watery, bahhhh. Not always the case but can be a bummer when spending $7.“

“I LOVE Cafe Diem! Every time I go I feel like I’m at home. Tabitha is an amazing barista/host and always helps me with getting a high chair and bringing my drink over. She is very kind and welcoming and makes me want to keep coming back!! I would recommend Cafe Diem to anyone!“

“Ordered ahead on the app which is always a breeze. Walked in and there was only two me girl working. She was pretty busy but kicking butt! Unfortunately I didn’t catch her name but she was friendly as well and the drinks were good! The pumpkin white mocha is good in moderation, it didn’t mention spice in the app so wasn’t expecting the spice flavor.“

“This is a drive-thru coffee shop that's similar to a CarHop from the 1950s. Fun, super friendly, fast service at your car. The music is blasting and the girls come out to your car to take your order. It's usually pretty busy with several vehicles in line waiting, but the service is fast and the drinks are diverse with creative new mixtures. It's less expensive than Caribou or Starbucks. There is no dine-in option, the only drawback.“

Oreo Blender medium $6.15 & its so good you will dream about it! They always give our girls pup cups too and thats huge for our spoiled rotten puppies. The coffee is delish, the service is great. We choose Scooters over every other option in Norwalk, every time.“
