“Got bagels a couple days ago for the office and the manager Autumn explained that they were out of some bagels we ordered but they were in the oven and apologized for the wait as the crew was brand new and she was working on getting everyone up to speed. This was a different experience than the other times I had come before where the customer service was seriously lacking.The restaurant looked much better cleaner and lobby was much more welcoming than it had looked in the past and the crew was friendly and all smiles“

“This is a very nice laid back bagel coffee shop. There are a million drink options and tons of bagel and breakfast options. The bagel bites and bagels are awesome. Great place to relax and enjoy a cup of your favorite coffee or other drink and have something to eat.“

“I stopped by the store to pick up a half dozen bagels. Good news-bad news: the bagels were warm and fresh BUT the supply was low. (I am happy that people are buying their bagels).

One employee, Cody, was very efficient. He checked in the back for which bagels I preferred. He got everything ready quickly. I watched him work on several orders simultaneously. He probably has a good future in food service and/or customer. Thanks, Cody.“

“I had Java Joe's years ago when I first came to Iowa. They left downtown DSM but I'm so glad that I was able to find them again in Ankeny! The coffee is still good and the food (TJ's Bagels) is still just as good as I remember it. The ghost pepper bagel is my favorite! It's got a nice, flavorful spice that goes well with a plain cream cheese on a perfectly chewy bagel. The highlight here is honestly the staff here. They're the real MVPs. Highly recommend!“
