I am the type of person that loves positivity and giving great reviews. Give honor to where honor is due. And I give great reviews, call the managers and praise the service all the time.
I have also had my share of terrible service and/or food and usually do not say a word.

Ate there today (March 15th) around 6pm. The crew working was great! got our food in like 5 mins and it was super hot and fresh! every single employee was great. We will definitely be coming here more often!
Good was good as it normally is. Fish was a bit soggy but we are used to it since got it to-go.
Unfortunately, they were also 15 min late on the order and that probably contributed to the more soggy fish.

This newer venue is a quality stop, whether driving on the nearby 35 or within the Ankeny area. Their drive-thru option excels in speed and kind customer service, though some food items have been reported as cold, hard, or tough. The concrete is tasty but can be sloppy. Beautiful cheese curds and huge portions of tenders are highlights, and their Culver’s sauce is delicious. Fries are a big favorite, and they also have Pup Cups. Customers enjoy the frozen custard, with popular flavors including vanilla and chocolate, and unique mixes like blackberry and peach cobbler.
