The Bettendorf Public Library is a treasure we proudly call our home library. Its collection of VOX Books, which read stories aloud to children, is a lifesaver—especially when I’m busy preparing dinner and can’t read to my kids. I love how they host engaging story time sessions, even taking them to local parks in the summer. The library also offers toys and puzzles for kids to enjoy. The Bettendorf library is a wonderful place to find great programming, book sales, resources, and good old relaxing. I highly recommend everyone to stop in and enjoy what the library has on offer.
This library is large and comfortable. It has great computers. So many comics I can't find in other libraries. It could use more art and comfortable chairs.

The Bettendorf Public Library Information Center is a spacious and comfortable library with great resources, including a wide selection of comics. It features VOX Books that read stories aloud to children, which are especially helpful for busy parents. The library hosts engaging story time sessions and takes kids to local parks in the summer. There are also toys and puzzles for children to enjoy. The staff is consistently friendly and helpful, making every visit a joy. Visitors appreciate the nice environment, good selection, and many resources, always looking forward to their next visit. The children’s area is wonderful, with fish, games, and a variety of books for kids to pick out each week. While the library offers various programming and book sales, there is a need for more control over noise levels, especially from middle school and high school students, to ensure a peaceful study environment.
