“This country store was great! It had something for everyone. Free samples of soft serve ice cream and pop corn were available as well as some deli choices. Prices were reasonable and service was excellent and restrooms were clean and well stocked.”

“They make awesome potatoe salad and have good cheese burgers for a mini-mart. They have cooks specials during the week- the roast beef with mashed potatoes is really good and so is the beef and noodles. Prices are pretty fair too., and the coffee is good. They have .50 coffee on mondays!”

“This is a nice, quant little coffee shop in small town Iowa. It looks to be set up in a building that has some type of history with glass block corners and old concrete brick, which adds to it's charm. Upon walking in, in cozy inside but inviting and warm. Their menu is somewhat limited, but had most items to accommodate to normal coffee connoisseur. The food was good, ESPECIALLY the avocado toast. It was well prepared and generous amounts of avocado. It was a very enjoyable little stop, hidden just off the square in Bloomfield. I encourage you to stop by for your morning fix. You'll be pleasantly surprised.”

“Rooms: Very comfortable beds with hard and soft pillows.There was no carpet in our room which was great.Food & drinks: At the Restaurant we had a ribeye steak sandwich and a fish sandwich. Excellent food and service. Large sandwiches. The price was very reasonable.Noteworthy details: Just traveling through to go home, stayed just the night.”

“We was looking all day at campers and was getting into mid afternoon when we finally got to eat. Husband pulled up to CJ'S Cafe in Bloomfield,IA and we was greeted with a smile and the woman said we could seat ourselves. Right as soon as we sat down we was greeted by our waitress on what would we like to drink? We told her and she had our drinks to us and asked us if we was ready to order? We did and I explained how I wanted my hasbrowns done and my eggs and so did my husband. They did excellent job at getting out meal to us, food was awesome and plenty of it, one didn't go home hungry. I would have to say this is another one of my favorites close to our home and we would gladly go back. Thank you for your excellent service.”

“I've been buying nut breads from them at the Freight House Farmer's Market for two years now. They are so yummy, I freeze some to get me through the winter months. Peanut butter balls are delicious also!”
