“We are not from the area we drove three hours to pick up some furniture that we bought. We saw this place on Google. It was super kid friendly. There was a candle right by our table that was lit, and the waiter warned us of the candle with our kids, being near it, and then he proceeded to move it away from the area. The waiter was super kind and interacted with our kids. The food was really good and the service was fast.”

“The Angry Beaver Bar is such a fun bar to drink at. They also make a great breakfast, but be prepared to wait. The bar is on the small size and so is the kitchen ....HOWEVER it is worth the wait. Breakfast was great. The coffee drink I had was also amazing”

“Very nice place. Lots of decorations, the bartenders are nice, there’s even a volleyball net outside. There’s bike trail right by it and a bike rack with supplies for your bikes. Lots of fun games there. Popcorn and pizza as well. It’s a perfect place to go and have fun.”

“When ever I stay in Carroll Iowa I always always always stop in here for the best Texanas Fajitas. Service is always top knotch, their salsa is great, chips are always warm and the flavors of their meats are phenomenal. Not many restaurants I frequently fly back to since I work on the road. But this will always be a staple go to for me.”

A stones throw from Blackhawk lake. Very nice for us locals and a nice day trip for those looking for a nice afternoon in western Iowa. “I spent several hours at the brewery during Ragbrai. Friendly staff, tons of taps. Interestingly none of the staff knew the WiFi password. Carroll brewing had four of the taps in use, regretfully I was pulled toward other offerings.A neat place overall”

“The Bo Bo Platter is an experience and the food on it was amazing. Everything was good at this place. Beef and broccoli, Hunan chicken, Wonton soup, egg rolls. Pricey. But a buffet is just as much and it’s not fresh. I prefer this restaurant if we aren’t in a hurry and can just sit and enjoy atmosphere and discussion while food is prepared fresh.”
