“I went to dinner with friends. It was my first visit to cafe Dodici. I had the lasagna. The best I’ve had to date. It wasn’t heavy or too rich. It was the perfect blend of flavor, spice, and texture. The pasta was not heavy. The cheese was flavorful. Thoroughly satisfying. The service and the atmosphere was classy, timely, and engaging. The experience was memorable and I will be a returning customer. Thank you for a wonderful dining experience.”

“I’ve always experienced great service and how awesome is that to see the owner, herself, bringing your food to the table!!! The shrimp po’boy is always a pleaser!!!! And the sea salt fries …. Love this so much I find it hard to choose something else to try!!!!❤️”
“I stopped in to ask the owner about bringing students that are learning to speak English to the restaurant for lunch, not knowing they didn’t currently have seating. The owner told me it wasn’t a problem, she’d have picnic tables brought in to the room under construction. The owner and staff went above and beyond for my students! 5 out of 5! Thank you for your excellent hospitality! First time there and I’ll definitely be a regular customer! It’s no wonder all of my students chose this restaurant over the other 3 in town!”

“My wife and I ate here at noon March 14 while in town for an appointment. She had chicken cordon bleu and said it was much better than what she had at another restaurant in downtown Washington last fall. I ordered the 5-piece catfish strips with cole slaw and French fries. All very good. And included in our meals was a scoop of ice cream. We both chose strawberry. Our waitress was excellent. Will definitely eat here again when in town!”
“Well we only use this spot for exiting the skunk normal, this day we entered there we started around 6-630am that morning and it was a beautiful day/morning. Took us 6.5 hrs that day to go from the eagles nest to mac coons”

“I've been going to Dodici's Shop for years. They have the best tasting coffee drinks and they are consistently good. I always as for an iced latte or blended latte and less pumps of syrup and they always make it great. If I want to change up the flavor, they always have great recommendations (one time it was a salted caramel, marshmallow with chocolate drizzle pictured) or a board with special ideas for the month (like fall for Sept, Halloween for Oct, Valentines etc.) Truth be told, I don't usually step out of my comfort flavors. They have decaf options as well as smoothies and matchas.
They have fresh baked goods and I would definitely recommend trying some. My favorite is the lemon scone, which is perfectly lemony. My next favorite is oat walnut scone. (Pictured below.) The frosting is super whipped so if looks like whipped cream but tastes like frosting. My daughter likes their sour cream chocolate muffins and the sour cream coffee cake. My husband's favorites are the flourless oat cookie and the cranberry scone.
If you are looking for a nice gift for someone they sell a lot of neat items -- oh and Amana chocolates!
All of the workers are great and it's been nice getting to know the regulars over the years.”

“Do not heed your first impression upon entry. This place is essentially a portal to the 5th heaven. Food fit for gods; atmosphere comfort for heroes; prices suitable for mere mortals.”

“Good food (and drink) at reasonable prices - they were constantly busy with takeout orders (so if locals are happy, it's got to be good)
Simple bar and grill, but still great for families (kid's meals get free ice cream).
Plenty of parking.
Our server was always spot-on, and handled 5 families (and 6 kids) without a hiccup - without any complaint about separate bills.”

“So I see everyone complaining about the drive thru. That's fine, you build a business in a location like this. I've been there several times with people although I've only ordered once, I got a bacon, egg, cheese sammich. The only complaint is the bacon wasn't crispy enough for my personal liking. Food itself was 25° hotter than any other place in town.”

“Not only is the inside of this place extremely authentic and absolutely beautiful looking, but it's clean. This is my first time ordering food from this restaurant, but it was very professionally made, and absolutely delicious. Addition to that, the service was completely on point. They were not only friendly and attentive, but I actually felt welcomed, and they were completely willing to make the food according to my dietary needs.”

“McClutter, apparently management’s office is too small so they have relocated to the dining room. Stuff sitting out everywhere. Cleaning supplies are always left laying out in view. Place is clean and staff is friendly.”
