“I don’t think you guys realize how hard it is to work fast food. A lot of you are so quick to have bad reviews or leave small stars. They have new owners now, everytime I come in here it’s great! Everyone here is so sweet to me & they work really hard, I used to work fast food & not everyone is good with a rush, you guys get so upset whenever you have to wait for long, yes it’s called “fast food” but when they have so many people coming in with only two workers, that isn’t always possible. Keep up the great work ladies!“

Stopped through the drive-thru today at B-Bop’s on SE 14th, and I’ve got to give a big shoutout to Andrea for her honesty! I accidentally handed her too much cash without realizing it, and she caught it right away — gave me back my correct change and the extra bill I had slipped in. That kind of honesty and integrity is rare these days, and it really deserves some recognition. Appreciate you, Andrea — thank you for being so genuine and kind!“

“I don’t usually leave reviews, but this place deserves it. Visited on 2/26/26 around 4pm. Restrooms were clean and well stocked, restaurant area was clean, no trays or dishes laying out, everything well stocked, counters all wiped down/not sticky, drive thru was moving along at a steady pace, staff was all friendly, all in proper uniform, and don’t even get me started on the food 🤤 very impressed all around 🌟 10/10 recommend ♥️“

“I was looking for somewhere to get a quick bite to eat, and boy was I in for a treat.

I ordered a simple chicken finger basket with fries and a drink. I was pleasantly surprised that the lady at the register, who’s name I believe was Makenzie, was very knowledgeable about the menu and cleared some things up from me, appreciated her help!

“I call ahead and order at least 2 large orders of the jalapeno bites.
By the time I get there they are ready. They have gotten to where they recognize my voice and certainly my order and are always friendly. The drive-thru help are the absolute friendliest in town.“

“They did an amazing job on the ice cream cake. Staff were all super nice and the atmosphere was amazing while I was in store. They have a dq closer to me but I'm glad I decided to go out of my way to this store instead. Really appreciate everything and maybe ill get another cake for my family Xmas. “First time eating here. Friendly staff, fast service, reasonable prices, generous portions and delicious burgers and fries. I enjoyed the mushroom Swiss burger with perfectly seasoned crinkle fries. Our daughter is home from college, and she told us that’s the best burger she’s had in a long time. She had the bacon cheeseburger. Hubby had the double cheeseburger, it looked great too. He must’ve enjoyed it, he ate the whole thing! Glad we found this place, we will be back.“

“I personally like Taco Bell’s food more, but in terms of service and preparation, this location is superior to any other Taco Bell or Taco John’s I’ve been to. The employees are really nice, they get the food out quickly, and there’s never been any mistakes. Other fast food joints in the area should take note on what they’re doing here!“

“I've been coming to this taco johns for over 2 years now. Probably twice a week, ALWAYS in the morning. This crew knows my favorite order, always delivers a smile even at 635am, and has never messed up my food. What else can you ask for? Most consistent fast food place I've ever eaten at. Thank you.“

“I was greeted immediately with a warm welcome as I entered the store. The cashier was friendly and processed my order with ease. While standing at the counter, I accidentally dropped a $10 bill without realizing it. The cashier found it and brought it straight to me. Acts like that may seem simple, but she came to me without hesitation, which speaks volumes about her character and the type of employees you hire. In addition to the great customer care, the store was clean and even smelled fresh. I had an excellent experience and will return soon“

“I ordered two of the barbecue steak House brisket sandwich meals that looked huge and delicious in the picture, it was the exact opposite 😑 for a meal that is $13 this was really disappointing and clearly the amount of meat they put on this was just sad smh idk what’s going on at this location lately but that’s twice in the last week they have dropped the ball, the first time I went my fries weren’t filled even halfway up and now this tiny sandwich that was Luke warm and bland, I doubt I will be back“

“Best TJ’s in town! All of the locations are great, but this is my favorite one. Always hot, fresh food. The staff is kind and friendly. Great, fast drive thru. These folks work very hard and it is appreciated from this East Sider.

“Service was great, food was good, and store was acceptably clean.
I visited on a weekday afternoon, the place was steady but not busy, about half-full with a few orders in line. I was greeted and placed my order right away. I, of course, got an ice-cold frosty mug and poured a root beer out of the tap. The staff were friendly and prompt, and my food was ready within five minutes. Staff brought the food directly to my table. The double papa burger was hot, and tasted good, the fries were fresh.
Staff were actively cleaning the restaurant between taking orders as they walked in. Gnats and fruit flies unfortunately seemed to be attracted to the root beer tap. Wall was lightly decorated with Americana kitsch and a big mural of a 50s sports convertible while 30s and 40s jazz and big band tunes played softly from the speakers.
I was initially thought the price was maybe a couple dollars too high, but after enjoying the food and especially the root beer, felt the price was worth it. I rang the bell nice and loud on my way out to show my appreciation to the staff for this more-than-satisfactory lunch visit. Great work from the whole team!“

“I was so happy to come here again. Our initial order was missing a few items, so we decided to call to see what could be done. Seeing that we had already been home by that point, Aaron was able to accommodate us over the phone. He understood how frustrating it could be when this happens, on both ends. Ultimately, the next time we were there, he made sure we were in good spirits before leaving. Upon his leave, I believe Tanya and Mina helped us just as much. If I have the names wrong, I apologize. Either way, the customer service was welcoming, the outcome was satisfactory, and this time all of the food was accounted for. Thank you all.“

“They changed their coleslaw which is very disappointing, it used to be my favorite.

This place does hold lots of memories for me though. I have been going here since I was little, I'm nearly 50. I still go here off and on when I make it to Des Moines around lunch time.

Story has it it was a restaurant back in the 50s. It would be interesting to know for sure.“

So we decided to give this place a try… and wow, what a surprise! 🤩🥢 This restaurant completely exceeded our expectations. From the moment we walked in, the staff taking our order were incredibly patient, kind, and genuinely helpful. 😊👏
The fried spring rolls tasted homemade and were perfectly crispy and delicious. 🥟✨ And the egg drop soup? Absolutely amazing. 🍲 It had that comforting, homemade flavor with a rich, savory broth and generous bits of vegetables and chicken in every spoonful. You can really tell they care about quality and flavor.

I also did the survey which got me having two subscriptions from two other websites because of all the ads on the suvery which took me hours to unsubscribe from considering the charges but anyway, I didn't get a discount so I'm a but disappointed. I'll forever be grateful of their free potto oles for installing the app though!“

“DoorDashed messed up my order, and Nick L’s too. He dropped off Nicks order and gave me a terrible time about rectifying the issue. I went through DoorDash for a replacement order. When my order arrives, not only was it correct, fresh and exact what I wanted but they gave me a FREE cookie (my favorite) to make up for the Dasher’s mistake. This act of kindness makes a difference in people’s days. Thank you!

“This Burger King is the best one that my boyfriend and i had ever been too. The guy taking our order was the most up-beat happy go lucky guy i had ever met in a fast food buisness. She was super friendly, offered suggestions, and checked to ensure she was building our pizzas to our satisfaction. We also ordered cheese sticks and meatballs.
