“After our bar adventure in Omaha my fiancé and I went to one of the best Italian restaurants tonight, Roma in Bellevue. I Had a small wait list but the food was worth it. The french twist rolls were a great start. I had the Pasta Combo (lasagna, manicotti, cannelloni, ziti & tortellini) and she had tortellini a la panna (cheese-filled pasta with pink sauce and crispy chicken). The portions were huge! I would highly recommend this place.“

“As always the food was great. But on last Friday, they gave my grandson and myself shelter during the storms that raced across Nebraska. They provided us shelter in the basement with the staff and provided my grandson with candy. That half hour that we were there saved us from being on the road to Blair right as the tornado was crossing the highway. Our waitress was quick, efficient, and knowledgeable.But the food has now risen to a new level. I won't focus on one plate because we were all sharing our plates with each other. "You've got to try this!" was said more than a few times. Flavors were savory, complex and cascading. Frankly, it was a perfect restaurant experience.Friday - 6:30pmWe arrived without reservations, asked for a table outside and were given two different answers by two employees with very different attitudes. I couldn't tell who the hostess was - if there was one. The second employee (Grumpy McGrump-face) said seating wasn't available. When we said the first employee (Fun Jolly) said otherwise, the second just said, "huh", and walked away. The first employee came back and seated us outside. Quite the confusing intro.We ordered two brews, a bread appetizer and a soup for my friend. Our beers arrived, but they were out of beer glasses, and we were given highball glasses instead with an apology. Our appetizers arrived and at this point we had to ask for napkins and silverware.The Rosemary Focaccia bread was good, but unremarkable. My friend said his Soup of the Day, a tomato variety, was very good.The wait for the food was much longer than I would expect - about 25 minutes. This was tempered with apologies from our waitress assuring us it was on the way and that the peak hour was taking it's toll on the kitchen. Our server was very nice, but seemed to be on edge apologizing for the delays.I had the Spaghetti & Meatballs. While the spaghetti itself was standard, the sauce was rich, peppery and carried a unique kaleidoscopic flavor. The meatballs were large, solid, and well concocted with little fat.My friend had the Spaghetti Carbanara. Other than the black olives (which he doesn't like personally) he said the flavor was full and delicious.Both dishes filled us more than enough.Overall, I would go back. At this writing, they've only been open 3 weeks, so I have hopes they will work out their timing and service foibles. It's worth putting up with for the above average dishes being served.UPDATE: Returned again several months later and were highly pleased. Looks like they worked out the kinks! :)“

“The reserved sign on the table was nice to see. They were ready for us and they selected a good table for us. My husband thought the cheesebread lacked flavor. They forgot the side of cheese for our pizza, but did bring it once we said something. I thought the salad was good and the pizza was great! I would like to return.“

“My experience with the Blackstone Meatball was take out. My family and I decided to try something new to take home for dinner. I am so glad we did. I cannot say enough about it.I recommend the Flight of meatballs - and yes, I said a flight. There were 5 different meatballs and sauces. When these hit the table, out came the forks and poof it was gone. Everyone agreed, this is a keeper. Plus the pasta was cooked to a beautiful al dente.They are even considerate and include an option with rice and mushrooms for non carnivores. We will be back“

I am visiting the area this week and wouldn't normally go out of my way to leave a review. But my meal was wonderful and I had to give credit where credit is due!“

They were completely booked with reservations for the evening so definitely make sure if you want to go there that you have reservations. We ate more of the secondaty menu than the traditional one but the Burrata was so good!The food, the service, and the cocktails were amazing!“

“The food is always AMAZING! Some of the best wings this side of the Missouri. The people are always trying their best to make you happy, and they clean the tables after you are done. Yes it does have the SOUTH OMAHA laid back interior design of classic history and decorations, but I dont need shiny bling bling to make my food taste better. The pizza is TOP NOTCH, and always hot and fresh. Its local and homey atmosphere is always relaxing. And they have points for buying food and send you gift coupons in the mail. “Lansky's is a place we get to a few times every year. They seem to specialize in pizza, calzones and philly sanwiches. For us it is almost always the philly's. The is consistency to the sandwiches always having enough roast beef and it tasting good. We consider it better than the other places locally. There are 2 sizes, but for us, the regular works best, maybe a few years ago would have been ordering the 'large' size. The meat seems to be slow-cooked and tender. We normally order them with onions and green peppers. Can also get cheese. They come served on a hoagie bun. Be aware it does take more time than most 'fast food' places. They have always been generous with the size of french fries so we only have one order. It might cost them a couple of dollars on our order but keeps us returning to them instead of the several other places available. The ambiance is......well consider stark. I believe the building started off as a Village Inn a smallish sized VI. Now imagine all the booths and counters being removed. Put several square tables and chairs in the room. No decorations just tables, chairs, and windows. It might just be me but the tables tend to feel 'sticky' although I see them cleaning them after every use. There is nothing to encourage you to sit for a while and eat inside. We take the food home. Yet! despite some of the shortcomings I mention it is still recommended for its food.“
