I am a big soup snob I love soup it's one of my favorite things to eat. I got the beef brisket tex mex soup and I WAS BLOWN AWAY! This was the best soup I have ever had! I wish i could order it by the gallon. I also had the bang bang chicken sandwich The very first thing I noticed is that the sandwich looked exactly like it does in the picture...absolutely beautiful the presentation was so impressive. I have never ever been anywhere where the food comes out looking the way it is advertised. This sandwich was amazing! The fries were perfectly done and everything was hot. I had a migraine from hell today and needed food…the Doordash location (not this location but the one in the mall) forgot my sauces… I called, chaotically I’m sure- I’m cranky from this migraine, and they were so sweet. I asked if I could grab sauces after my work shift since they’re in walking distance, and they walked them to me for lunch instead!!Best customer service ever! The manager was great to work with and I really am glad I chose Charleston’s. Our food was delicious. Highly recommend the shrimp cargot, the Caesar salad, and the special filet.“

The price point for the venue, bartender, and drink options were all extremely fair and made it affordable for us to have an intimate event in a beautiful space. I’m so glad I got an excuse to host an event there so I could see it, it was just absolutely stunning inside. All of the cider we tried were delicious - a lot of flavor but not too sweet. Brooklyn was the event manager who I spoke with throughout the process of booking the venue and also ended up being our bartender (who made great cocktails), busser, and got everything set up and helped us clean up after. This was the perfect event space!“

The only thing that keeps me from going regularly is the extremely pushy gratuity system, paired with small sizes.

For clarification: Every time you order, you’re immediately asked “will you be adding a tip/gratuity today?” loudly and directly. Servers don’t even ask customers if they’re adding a tip face-to-face because it comes off as forced and expected.“

“my daughter and I went to barleys yesterday for lunch. loved that it was handicap accessible without any steps. We sat towards the back of the reatraunt and was quickly serviced by a waitress to get our drink orders and given menus. I ordered the patty melt and my daughter ordered a Canadian pizza. both were really good. the only thing we wished were different and I say we because she stole a lot of my fries lol were the fries needed seasoned with something. we had to add salt. and the patty melt sandwich could've used an added sauce like Dorothy lynch or something. it wasn't dry just needed something else to add flavor. otherwise it was really good. will definitely be back.“
