“The young man that we had for a waiter was amazing very friendly the atmosphere was good I just I can't remember hearing anything in the background it would have been nice maybe to hear some Christmas music.Just my own personal thoughts the young man we had for a waiter was amazing we were there Sunday afternoon. We will eat at this one any day over the one in Waterloo Iowa we were at Cedar Falls Iowa. The staff isn't as friendly in Waterloo or anything and I've seen the kitchen no thank you.“
“We were greeted immediately as we walked in on Easter Sunday. Server was attentive and amazing. All of the food was fantastic! Came with the family a group of 6 and all of us left full and happy. Big plates and everything was cooked to perfection. The hash-browns were so delightful. I had the country fried steak and eggs and it was just wonderful. We will definitely be back!“

“I ate here with my wife on a Wednesday night recently and had an excellent experience. The entrees we ordered were great in every way. I had the generously sized country fried steak with mashed potatoes and gravy with a side of green beans and Texas toast. It was delicious! My wife had the grilled tilapia with two sides and a biscuit. She commented to me that the tilapia was just right and the biscuit was excellent. As it was a Wednesday, the meals came with a free slice of pie. We both had the triple berry pie and were very happy.The waitress was very good as were the hosts.We talked about it and plan to make this a regular stop on Wednesday nights when we come to town.“
“I never leave reviews but was so impressed, I had to share, especially these days when good food and service is hard to find. Traveling for the holidays we stopped at Village Inn, surprised to find one still open. The restaurant was clean, well maintained and so festive with even the employees dressed in Christmas apparel. We were greeted with a smile and promptly seated even though it was very busy. Our waitress Abbi was fantastic! Always had a smile on her face, had our drinks refilled before we ever got to the bottom, had our food out quickly and correct and was sure to meet all our needs. The food was delicious with the large variety of food we ordered. Will definitely be back next time we go through Cedar Falls!“
