Personally, I have been eating at Abelardos for the last 6-7 years. I used to travel from Iowa City to Des Moines just to eat Abelardos. Since this specific location has been open, I have found that this has been my absolute favorite location. The staff is excellent, always very nice and consistent; as well as the food is always what I am expecting. I love that it is also one of the only restaurants open late. Recently, I went not long before close (which I typically avoid but was on a late work night), and I had expected the usual experience when going in an hour before close to eat somewhere. To my delight the staff was very kind, my food was good and I did not feel rushed to eat. (Although, respectfully, I hurried to not hold them up)

I HIGHLY recommend this location, and a huge thank you to the staff for always being so excellent!

Went there got 2 beef 1 chicken taco very good. Service was unfriendly and rude what a shame.

Had my Loyalty card for a free burrito,
Ordered it with chip and queso, on the coupon it says "free combo meal or burrito"
They only took off the chips and queso then argued saying the coupon only takes off the cheapest item.
I liked the food. And went here alot, bit ill be switching back to taco depot ?

I usually go here with my dad and i must say the food is really great and usually comes out the right way, the only issue i’ve ever had is them putting stuff on my food that i asked them not to put on. Really great though.

I love the bean and cheese burritos. Best in town. Always hot and consistent. Plus they always give you two different hot sauces. Great service as well.
