McDonald's in Cedar Rapids

“The service was great when the food was the fresh and the crew working cares about doing a good job. It's pretty good to see that this McDonald's location still has a place area for the kids, it feels like place areas in McDonald's are are commodity these days.“

“While I cannot speak on other people's experiences, I have had zero issues with this location. I come here often on my lunch break so I've gotten quite a few meals from here.

In fact, I want to post this on here to share my praises of their crew. The staff is polite and courteous. The drive-thru moves efficiently during the busy lunch rush.

I am a picky eater so my orders can usually be complicated. Yet every time I've been here my food is hot, delicious, and correctly made.

“This McDonald's is literally night and day... During the day... GREAT! everyone is super sweet and I swear management never takes a day off but then late night... Not so great...they aren't the worst but if ur someone who values customer service then don't go here after midnight... Let's say the response time is 😴“

“Morning staff is really good. They're fast or at least they're doing their job how there supposed to instead of at their own leisure like the night people.
Now night time is a totally different story cause they're one of the only places open all night n it's like they know that so they know ppl will come no matter how slow they are. They take orders, have you pay, send you to park to bring it out. You cannot get curbside tho after w certain time so you order online then are told to go through the drive thru where you're told to park so they could bring it out. This becomes a problem for me when I order something simple like small fries med frappe which is been ordered ahead of time but still I get stuck behind everyone who just got ripped to pull around... People who actually have food that prolly isn't already ready but fries n frappe? And God forbid I decide to go inside because I'm there early enough to and my car does not like to idle very well it tends to want to die on me and it causes problems so a lot of times I just want to go in and wait for my mobile order. Usually at most places it is faster. But not at this McDonald's it's just as slow“

“Overall, nothing spectacular about this location. I do like the new and improved kiosk ordering system. It is very straightforward so friendly and intuitive. The drawback to these new kiosks is the fact that I have nobody to blame but myself and my order is messed up. Lol.

Parking: The parking lot at this location is crazy. It’s like going through a maze at an amusement park.“

“My drive through order was correct and the person who took the order was nice. After I paid I was asked to pull into a stall and waited 15 mins for my food, that was not so great. It was 7:30 at night. Not a peak time.They have 4 or 5 waiting stalls. They were ALL full of people who went through the drive through. The McDonald's on 33rd isn't open but I find it hard to believe that's why they were so slow. There is another McDonald's much closer to the closed 33rd Ave one and it was busy but only took 5 mins to get me a similar order. Both visits were this week.The most important thing is my food was correct. But when it takes that long you get home and eat cold food. Not a great experience. I recommend any other location here locally.“
