“I’ve been to this venue many times, and have enjoyed it every time! The atmosphere is lively, the events are fun, and the staff/owner are very nice and personable. The staff/owner do a lot for local charities, including Mental Health and Iowa Veterans, and go above and beyond to help the community. I can’t recommend this establishment enough!“

“The Park Avenue Pub has been around forever, well known on the Southside of Des Moines and largely remains unchanged. Still operating under normal pub hours and participating in local pool league tournaments. If you’re looking for fancy, this is not your place. If you’re looking for an old school simple watering hole and place to grab a bite, this is it. A small group of us still get together periodically on Saturdays for sausage sandwiches and a couples beers. Always a thumbs up on the sandwiches and they are reasonably priced. Also, plenty of parking in the back.“

We told him how talented and amazing he was, and how we needed more good people like him in the world to brighten our day. “We had the best time at Vista Pub this weekend! Showed up at 5:30 and had a hard time leaving at 11pm!! Food was delicious! We split pizzas, (big C & breakfast za), pretzel sticks, donuts, nachos, fries, and chicken tenders. Great atmosphere and the touch tunes were a fun touch! “My lunch today at Saints Pub in Waukee, with two dear friends, was truly wonderful. My blackened salmon was tender and fabulous, and our server, Gerardo, was very helpful and attentive. Being able to relax on the patio on such a beautiful day was the cherry on top. We'll definitely be back!“

“I ordered A cup of soup and a side salad. I was told that the soup was a brothy soup and wouldn't have any type of thickener in it. Since I'm gluten free, that's what I needed. Unfortunately, when the cup of soup came it was not brothy. It was a thick soup. One of the people that I was with ordered some type of salmon I believe it was, it was so spicy she couldn't eat it. I didn't think the food was anything fantastic. The service was good in the atmosphere was good.“
