Wonderful experience for DINNER tonight at Barrett’s. They are generally known as a bakery/coffee shop but I have been wanting to try dinner here and so glad we did! Being a cold front in January, it was peaceful and not crowded at all on a Friday. Parking was a breeze. I noticed the chef came out and sat down with a group to help them order. The server was incredibly kind and attentive. She was able to help me pair my delicious Arctic fish entree with a white wine. My partner...
Beautiful place, but the customer service needs improvement. The food was okay, nothing outstanding. Overall, a nice atmosphere, but better attention to customers would make a big difference.
I was passing through Coralville on a cross country move and grabbing coffee in the morning, and the employees were so kind. A manager (or maybe owner) overheard me chatting about my travels and she gave me some free goodies for the drive which was so sweet! The coffee was excellent, as was the pastries and granola. I’d highly recommend visiting this gem!
