I only ordered take out but the food was absolutely phenomenal!! Got the Mac n cheese (a little cheesy), chicken wrap, and southern jo. No complaints!!

I went to a family event here and the service was amazing. We were asked consistently if we needed drinks. The food was very fresh and good, I would recommend their boneless wings, very tasty! Plus their ranch dressing is the bomb! Everyone was super friendly. Thank you all for such a wonderful night.

I just moved to Iowa and am so disappointed with my first experience at Vine Tavern. I ordered take out, and per what they advertise on their own website they sale fried pickle chips. What I ended up receiving, was fried pickle spears. I’m sorry, but those are NOT the same thing. It’s not a being picky thing either. I would have never ordered if I knew they would have replaced with spears instead. Their picture clearly shows chips. I didn’t eat them.

If that was the only issue, I might not even have left a review, but I also ordered the chicken baked potato. First, there was no butter or sour cream. The cheese and bacon were so minimal that after mixing and breaking up the spud….they’re barely visible. The picture shows what it looked like after mixing it. No toppings had been removed or eaten. This is literally what I received. Not edible unless I went to the store and bought stuff to put on it. Beyond disappointing. Paid $30 for food I didn’t even eat.

Great place, friendly, lots of TVs, several craft beers on tap. With Slap is great!

We went out for an early supper Decided on Fish and Chips and a Monte Crisco Sandwhich. Both meals were well prepared and service was amazing. Really liked the atmosphere. Price s were a little higher but the servers made up for that they all deserve a raise and a big shout out to the hostess waitress and our kitchen sever.All did great job. This place has great atmosphere w all the Hawkeye items. A Definite stop in Iowa City.

Our service was awful. Austin was our server. He brought our drinks. Then took awhile to take our order. He actually took the order from a table that sat after us first. The order took an eternity to come out. We were out of our drinks for over 10 minutes. I went up and asked him for a drink from the bar. He said it would be a bit. Then he went and sat at a kiosk for 5 minutes. I finally asked another server for my drink. He could have poured the drink in 30 seconds but didn't. He brought our food. We had to get our own to go boxes. When he saw we had to go boxes he came over and asked if we were ready for our check. We were there for over an hour. We were on a lunch break. Very disappointed.

I'm a wing guy and for a decade I've always stopped in to get the maple bbq traditional wings and today tried the maple bbq grilled wings and the char made them stand out. Fantastic option
