“Don't miss out on this hidden gem! Was in town for the weekend on a girls' trip and we decided to stop here. And I'm glad we did! I had an iced mocha and it was perfect.... Not too overly sweet and not mostly ice. And $4.95 for a large.... Can't beat that. The staff was very sweet as ”
“nice place, no food but pizza but quiet laid back nice smoking patio and atmosphere. Vern was my favorite bartender while i had my visits over the weeks i was in the area. would definetly return!”
“I came to Corning for 2 weeks for work and this was my favorite place to dine. I stopped multiple times and everything I had was delicious. I love that their menu changes weekly, it was exciting to come in and try something new. The first time I stopped I had the chicken and risotto which tasted like a home cooked meal. The second night I had the Primrose chopped salad and it was so good I've been trying to figure out how I can make a version at home. I had 2 different flat breads that were both great and had leftovers to take for lunch. I got a variety of desserts too which were delicious. I couldn't believe a place like this exists in this part of Iowa, but I was ecstatic that it did! The staff was all friendly and Jill remembered me every time I came in which was appreciated when you're away from home! The space is nice too, the bar is large and has ample seating. I might just take a trip out here again just for Primrose! Such a culinary delight.”
“I was in town and looking for somewhere that was close to the Corning Hotel. It was too late to have anything delivered to the room so I ventured out with my hotshot truck and trailer rig. Best decision I've made because there was plenty of room downtown I was able to just parked and took as many faces I needed because it was late. The Establishment reminded me of some of the Mexican restaurants here in Texas. It is ran by genuine Mexican immigrants. So I need the food would be genuine. The waiter was very friendly and had my cerveza order. Now this is my only negative is if you read my post you know my wife and I judge a restaurant by it's tortilla chips and salsa. They give you plenty of salsa but it wasn't up to my standard, kind of tomatoey sauce. Chips were small and lacking. Probably because being so far in the middle of Iowa that they don't have the vendors we do here in Texas. However the plate I was recommended Cameron Jalisco was superb. It came with more shrimp than I can eat and that's not easy to do. Their menu was overwhelming with everything you could think of in every category from Seafood to mix drinks. If I were in that area I would be a regular. If you get a chance check it out and it's got a really cool vibe and interior.”
“My hubby and I first stopped for the boasted chicken 2 years ago, after a fishing trip. The food was delicious and the service, too. Drove in from Omaha just for the boasted chicken -- and, again, delish, delish, delish! Great staff and very nice people! P.S. my hubby and I met an awesome couple while dining, and when we were getting ready to leave, found out they had already paid the bill! Looking forward to next time ?”
“Under new ownership, and they are doing amazing things! We order using the app most the time, and it's always correct and ready on time. Not to mention, their employees are super friendly!”
“Always fresh and delicious. Reasonably priced . Fast service. And convenient to place our large order ahead. Rolls freeze well so we can enjoy for our 1 a day roll habit.”
