“I normally get the sweet & sour chicken & like two other dishes no matter which restaurant I’m at. Never disappoints because I know I like it. I just tried their Hunan beef today & didn’t like that at all. But that might be because I’ve never had it & wont like it from any other restaurant either who knows so take that with a grain of salt🤷🏾‍♂️“

“We have eaten at just about every Chinese restaurant in the metro during the last 20+ years. By far, our go-to favorite is Taste of China in downtown Council Bluffs. The restaurant is small and spartan, so we've usually ordered out. The prices are generally competitive. Now, we hasten to add that the staff is not particularly friendly or talkative (a fairly insignificant flaw). But the food is the standout!!! We'd love to say we've tasted most everything on their menu, but we are stuck on a couple dozen items we keep eating over and over. WE ABSOLUTELY LOVE THEM. We don't think you'll go wrong with Taste of China!!!“

“Always love coming here. It’s one of my favorite places to eat. Although they do need to do an upkeep on booths and keep up on cleaning up messes throughout the restaurant. Their chairs and booth seats are broke down badly. You sit in a hole in some of the booths. Never have I come across that issue anywhere. But the food is really good and worth going. This location wasn’t the greatest,but the food was worth going there.“

“Staff was freindly but hard to understand but their food was delicious and I would definetly go again. It's food was not your typical american chinese but more traditional and their prices were amazing if you have 7 kids.

“Great service. Very hot, fresh food. I love it. Crab rangoon are big but just cream cheese, no actual crab. Orange chicken was lacking in flavor, kind of bland, definitely not spicy. Egg rolls, egg drop soup, and chicken lo mein were all very good. We were just passing through the area so I feel lucky I managed to pick a good chinese spot. I'd return if we were nearby.“

“I placed a phone order for pepper steak with beef about ten minutes before closing, and honestly, I wasn’t even sure they would accept it 😅. The guy who answered the phone was super friendly and relaxed, and he kindly agreed to take my order even though it was so close to closing time. That already meant a lot! 🙌✨
When I pulled up to the drive-through, my food was ready quickly, which was impressive considering the timing 🚗💨. On top of that, he surprised me by adding a few crab rangoons on the house! 🦀🔥 And I have to say — they were hands down the best crab rangoons I’ve ever had. Way better than anywhere else I’ve tried! Absolutely delicious 😋👌
The beef with rice was decent — maybe a little too saucy for my taste and the sauce itself wasn’t my favorite — but for the price, I really can’t complain at all 💸👍. The service alone deserves five stars. I honestly don’t understand how anyone could rate this place lower after an experience like that. We need more kind, thoughtful people like that drive-thru employee in the world 🌟👏“

“Almost 2 hours for delivery of 2.1 miles. Apparently my order was taken and not delivered by the original Door Dash “Dasher.”

Jade Palace took NO responsibility for the theft and non-delivery. Referred me to Door Dash for resolution. Automated chat finally referred to to a human chat whose only response was just wait on a NEW delivery. Finally arrived (COLD) and leaking. Dasher had no control and just left. No recompense, excuse or apology.

Would NOT accept delivery from Door Dash again, especially from the Jade Palace.“

“Amazing peanut butter chicken, crunchy crispy outside, even after delivery. Love the peanut sauce and the crab rangoon was my favorite crispy kind.... Yummy sweet and sour homemade sauce! Husband loved the General Taos. Super friendly staff... The reviews and high 4's and 5 star reviews are no joke. My only not so great thing was the fried rice. Thanks!!“

“Ordered to go in person. Wait was minimal. They seem to do a lot of to go here. Ordered dinner combo with egg roll, fried rice and sesame chicken. Pretty solid and chicken wasn’t overly sweet. I also ordered fried wontons and hot and sour soup. Fried wontons were ok, but I loved the hot and sour. Lots of veggies and tofu. Good spice! They also gave me plenty of fried wonton strips for the soup and they were fresh and crunchy.“

“My boyfriend got the Mongolian Beef and said it was very good. The crab rangoon was the best I’ve ever had; We both enjoyed it! The edamame was delicious. I got chicken lo mein without veggies (I am picky) and my boyfriend said it tasted fine but it wasn’t my favorite - but like I said, I am picky. All in all, this is a really nice spot to get Chinese!“

“Afforable, delicious and fast! This is my go-to Chinese takeout spot in the Omaha Metro. Classic Chinese menu, super affordable prices and it’s always fresh and delicious! I’d suggest takeout since this locally owned shop has obviously had some issues with the homeless and they’ve diy secured the front entrance. But don’t let that scare you away!“

“Have to ask questions. We figured out the 2 portions and one side rice. Feeds my daughter and I. And side broccoli and beef feeds my 3 child if she wants Chinese to. They are very helpful with figuring out what sizes will feed your size family. Very good 👍😊“
