Chicken was nothing to write home about, but the value for what you get was pretty good for the area. Avoid the fried rice and crab rangoon.

Great little Asian restaurant in the Old neighborhood fast efficient mainly takeout now if they just gave a fortune cookies with every meal....that would be real

China Taste is a take-out restaurant known for its great food at reasonable prices. The menu offers many vegetarian options, and the portion sizes are plentiful. The General Tso Chicken, Egg Foo Yung, and Honey Walnut Shrimp house specials are highly recommended. The ingredients are very fresh and the crab ragoon and donuts are also excellent. The restaurant is smaller in size, with dine in as an afterthought, but it has an open kitchen for customers to view their meals being prepared. Parking is convenient and has improved from the previous location. Prices have dropped for several items compared to a year ago. The window takeout service person is very pleasant. Overall, China Taste is considered one of the best Chinese restaurants around.
