I got a fruit tart and bacon egg and cheese croissant, both were super good. Definitely one of the best breakfast sandwiches I’ve had in Des Moines.

“Absolutely incredible donuts and cronuts— a must-visit!
ChuChus Donuts blew me away from the first bite! Their cronut bites are on a whole different level — flaky, buttery, and crisp on the outside, with soft, airy layers inside that just melt in your mouth. Each one has that perfect golden crunch that gives way to rich, indulgent goodness. They’re sweet without being overpowering, and every bite feels like a little piece of pastry heaven.
I also tried their cake donuts, and they deserve just as much praise. Moist, dense in the best way, and full of flavor — all had that homemade taste that feels both nostalgic and elevated. Not overly greasy, just perfectly balanced.
The staff was friendly, the shop was clean, and the selection was fresh, get there early, or they may be sold out. Whether you’re a cronut connoisseur or just love a good donut, ChuChus is worth every visit. I’ll be coming back — probably more often than I should!“

“I have come to this location many times and the employees are always very friendly and efficient!! The only downside to this crumbl bakery would be the location it is in such a bad spot and the parking is always super busy and very tight. I’ve almost been hit multiple times by people parking basically on top of my car.“

“Our wedding cake from Crème was absolutely perfect! Not only was it beautifully made and exactly what we envisioned, but it also tasted incredible. We went with a two-tiered cake, and both flavors were a huge hit—our guests couldn’t stop talking about how good it was!
Sammy at Crème was so easy to work with throughout the entire process. She was helpful, responsive, and really took the time to understand what we wanted. The final result was elegant, delicious, and everything we hoped it would be.
We’re so happy we chose Crème to be part of our day and would highly recommend them to any couple looking for a cake that tastes just as amazing as it looks!“

“We ordered the champagne cake for a birthday party. The cake was ready on the day and time specified. Family and friends were so impressed with the cake. It was beautifully decorated and tasted fabulous. The cake made the birthday celebration all the more special. I highly recommend the Bake Shoppe.“
“I dont give 5 stars for any company.This is far my favorite bread next Brownberry.I try to avoid not buy the company branded labels like Hyvee, Fareway or Great Value (Walmart brand). Just too bad I dont see this brand in Walmart.i know some Walmart Great Value bread is Country Hearth bread just the private labelHyvee sometimes is under Sara Lee.Just like tortilla- Mama Lupa's has there private label for HyveeSara Lee is just too expensive. “Went to 5 Borough Bakery today for the first time. My husband and I went 2 hours and 45 min after opening (10:45 am) on a Saturday. Their temporary hours state they're open until 2pm, so still another 3+ hours to go. Unfortunately, they had just 6 options to choose from and said that's all they had left for the day. We chose to go with Cinnamon rolls - they've been so highly regarded, we were looking forward to trying them for ourselves. Individuals were $5, or a 6-pack was $20 (but each roll was quite a bit smaller than what is provided in the individuals). We chose the 6-pack. Once we got home, the cinnamon rolls were very dense, not fluffy, some spots were hard while others were doughy, and frosting had little flavor - a whipped butter frosting (which tasted like there wasn't any vanilla in it, very bland), instead a cream cheese or other flavorful frosting. Overall, we were pretty disappointed with the cinnamon rolls after hearing so much hype about them. This plus the lack of selection and pricing have us hesitant on giving this place another shot.“

“I drive rideshare. I had never heard of Main Street Cafe and Bakery until a few days ago when I dropped a couple of young people off who work there. I asked about it, and they were excited to tell me their favorite items. Yesterday I dropped a nice employee off and I looped around and went to the drive through, intending to order something to share with my wife. I didn't see the dessert items on the menu, so I asked and the young lady named pretty much everything from cookies to cinnamon rolls, etc. She was efficient yet not rude, and I knew they were starting to get busy so I decided quickly on some cookies. I ordered my wife and I one each of the "Monster" and "Chocolate Chip" cookies, so I could surprise her when she got off work that day. long story short, the service was fast and friendly, and we both enjoyed the cookies. We look forward to exploring more of your menu.“

“We were married 10/24, and Chef Nik did our cake and cookies (we had cookies and milk for dessert). The cake was BEAUTIFUL and everything we wanted and then some. It tasted even better, and everyone loved the cookies (like, we had zero leftovers..). HIGHLY recommend Nik for all your dessert needs!“

“So many berries! We had a very enjoyable time and picking was fast, which was good because it was hot (6/11/25)! Staff was friendly. A bit of a walk to the strawberry fields, so be prepared if you plan to pick lots, you will have to carry them back. Try the lemonade slushy, the perfect way to cool off!“
