“We had a large party celebrating my mom's 90th birthday (23 people). They set us up perfectly so we could all talk to each other, and everyone in the place was warm and welcoming. The food was amazing, and the service was fantastic! I would highly recommend this place for anyone, including large parties. Just call and make a reservation beforehand, and they will have it all set up for you :-)“

“My wife and I visited here for the first time. I was elated to see Prime Rib as a special. The meat was overdone for what I ordered, but it was very tender and flavorful, I said nothing about it. I will definitely keep this place in mind next time we are in town.“

“Our waitress was great. Everyone liked the food. My only problem was the host. He ran around like a maniac. Literally running, he would slam plates down on tables and run away to his next task. “Honestly, if I could give this restaurant more stars, I think I would. I love the ambience of every aspect of this restaurant. The bar, the decor and interior seating, the absolute beautiful patio with festoon lighting and an outdoor bar. It is all perfectly Instagram worthy. Equally as impressive was the food. My favorite was the tuna tots, but these chicken tacos were delicious in their own right. I only wish they weren't as messy. “The food was a fantastic! The chicken was juicy, the beer batter fries were phenomenal. We also got fried pickles and they were AMAZING! Best fried pickles I've ever had! You also get a lot of food for your buck. We are leaving full with happy a belly! I am sure you will too. This is also coming from a very picky eater.“

“My favorite weekly treat...the food is great, but the biggest draw for me is getting to know the other regulars and the staff (Chad, Shannon, and Emily). Such an invaluable 'third place' for socializing in Cedar Falls, as an alternative to night time bars. Come say hi and have the Early Bird Special with me before 8am!“

“This was our second visit, the first time we had a large party, but this time round, i took one of my kids out. It wasn't overly busy. I'd say for say for a Friday night it was maybe a little slower than it should be. Our server was super nice. Our food was great. My daughter got the kids' cheese pizza, and I had the breaded chicken sandwich with chips. Overall, I'd give the experience an 8/10 only because we didn't see our server a whole lot when we first got there or toward the end.“

“Went there with a friend to listen to his cousin sing. I’m from Alabama and don’t get out much so it was nice to find somewhere to go where you don’t feel like a stranger. I really wish I could remember the name of the band that played because I really enjoyed their music.“

“Good place I have been a few times when I'm in town. People are always friendly and bartender remembers you even if you are only in town every few months. Britney (the bartender) that has work the nights I have been there. She is engaging with all customers and does a fine job. “Ate here first time about a week ago sort of bar side feel when you first walk in . They do have large back room though with tables. I had chicken strips with fries and they gave 3 really large strips so good portions. My son had a burger and enjoy his also. Happy hour was told is 4 to 7 and they had a good selection. Our server was great also fast service. I will return here again.“

“What an amazing venue for my wedding! I absolutely loved the ease of being able to borrow some of the decorations, as well as the amazing staff and their ability to tailor to what my hopes were. They sent pictures of the various spaces so that I could plan accordingly, and worked with me to pull off exactly what I wanted.“

“Had a great time with a large group of 10 plus a baby on a Thursday evening. The pizza is delicious!! Plenty of TVs, pool table, games, etc for a game night as well as a large bar. Really liked the atmosphere and had an awesome time, great service too. Highly recommended!“

“Hadn't been to Pump Haus in decades.... there are several great options in downtown Cedar Falls. Easy to forget some of the possibilities, but met up with some friends here. Had a burger topped with pulled pork and fries along with a couple of Surf Zombies. I was impressed. Attentive service and delicious food. I don't expect I'll wait decades to get back there.“
